Can someone tell me what happened in game 3? What did I miss there?

I loved seeing those 3 blings following up the bust and eating those juicy bunch of workers alive! Ever since Thorzain's fast double CC I was wondering how Zergs would react. I think Morrow found a great way as evidenced by game 1 and 3.

Game 2 started off totally lame with the bunker pressure and rine hiding behind the stalagmite, but became a really exciting game afterwards.

What strikes me is.. how badly prepared Jinro seemed to be. Losing to a baneling bust like that? Shouldn't he have tested the build against that? If not it's like the most risky build ever. Isn't there a time to put up 2 bunkers? And delay the tech and still be ahead? Hmm.. Interesting!

Morrow showing that a good player can win with both Zerg and Terran. Outclasses and outplayed.

MorroW is in no way outclassing Jinro.

LOL. Morrow's play is AMAZING. He has expert timings, control, and macro. Jinro was way too greedy and didn't prepare for the inevitable. Most good players would have expected this a third time; Jinro didn't. ---OUTCLASSED---

one trick pony busts his way through again

Being a one trick pony suggest that is the only thing he can do. The difference is that he chose to play with the strategy that gives him the best chance to win when it matters. That doesn't mean he can't play other strategies. Even in beta he was one of the better macro terrans but when it was money on the line he played to win. You may not like it but that doesn't make him a one trick pony.

Oh well I couldn't go perfect, my bracket is still intact as I didn't expect Jinro to go past Ro16. Still sucks for Jinro to go out that way.

Stop whining on MorroWs play like you did with IEM sick of it. He is doing what it takes to win and that is all that matters. Doesnt make him a bad player.

everyone crying about Morrow not wanting to play a macro game should seriously reconsider TvZ. If a T gets to greedy and you can punish him, you should do it. Its not Morrows fault Jinro failed to play it safe but played it as greedy as he possibly could. I love the new trend of mass baneling builds punishing the extremely macro oriented absolutely unsafe Terran play, it helps balance the game out.

Well, MorroW has lot all my respect, really, Morrow Can't keep up with Jinro Macro an mechanics so what? Well a Baneling bust kills everything.. so easy to win like that... Morrow.. really... i thought that you ... I don't know... I don't even...

No it doesn't, because otherwise every Zerg would do it and every matchup in the TSL would be ZvZ. It just counters this over-greedy fast expand build. Dude, I'm just as much a Jinro fanboy as the next guy, just acknowledge that he got countered really well. Watch the JulyZerg games in the GSL, he was the first to come up with it.

i'm so sad to see jinro lose here but seriously morrow needs to have a go at the GSL

Morrow is good, and yeah he won the series but two banelings busts don't necessarily warrant him as a GSL player.

He's a super strong macro player, that's why the baneling busts were so surprising. Jinro thought he could get away with a 14 CC because morrow is(was) almost as predictable as Idra.
The dashboard melted but we still had the radio.

Then you're in the .01%ile... were your bets trolling bets? There's no way you think hasuobs and morrow are better than huk and Jinro.

Either that or you're the biggest mouz fanboy in the world...

Actuall I do think Hasu > Huk, but do agree with jinro > Morrow by a good amount in macro games ^_^.

Disappointing series only gg was game 2.

Just like Jinros bunker rush vs Idra in GSL?
Vengance for the swarm!!! MorroW HWAITING!!

I'm not bitter over Jinro's loss, but that bunker rush isn't even comparable. It was to apply pressure not kill him. Remember how he had that refinery going up when Idra gg'd?

not comparable in the sense that whilst they both win u the game, the bust requires a significant cut to econ?

Morrow played really well, and I think given how often we've seen Jinro go CC first against zerg, he definitely spent time in preparation figuring out how to crush it.

Something that the casters missed was that when Jinro sent his 2nd (maybe 3rd?) scv scout to morrow's base (before the baneling nest went down), Morrow started to send a drone to his in-base third, but never made a hatchery with it. The baneling next went down soon after the scv was killed, and I can only wonder if Jinro was expecting Morrow to play a more economic game instead of going for another bust.

Either way, both players played well, gl to morrow in the rest of the tournament
