When MVP reviews his games, he'll realize that he could have won if he had just done effective drops.

Against Alicia in the 3rd games, he waited way too long to attack. He easily could have dropped before the 1st colossi came out, kill a large number of probes, and maybe sniped the robo bay.

Against MVP he really screwed up by not sniping the observer. If he had done that, a drop into Genius's main would be hard to detect, and it would win him the game easily.

Again, it's funny how fickle everyone is. Don't forget that just last season we had 3 terrans,1 zerg, and no protosses in the semifinals, and an all-terran semifinal in code A. They introduced bigger maps, and suddenly everyone says protoss is OP. Just give more time for the metagame to develop. Protoss was underperforming for two GSLs in a row - around two months. It's been only about a month since the new maps were officially introduced I believe.

MVP played way off balance. Hugely disappointing. He's clearly in a huge slump... it seems like everyone who wins a major event is destined to freaking fail the next tournament hard.
They really all deserved to be in Code S.
And to everyone saying "OMG MVP LOST TO TWO PROTOSSES TERRAN TOO WEAK THIS GAME IMBA"...stop your balance whining. You've got marauders. Look at the way MVP played, it was nothing like the ownage fest he pulled off last season. Pulling 60 SCVs only to ram them into splash damage colossi and chargelots?
I don't like this upcoming group with Rain, Hyperdub, and TOP. TOP is the only one that could deserve to be in Code S... >.<

These balance complaints are so ridiculous. I'm not saying the game is balanced or imbalanced. I am however saying that balance wasn't the issue tonight. MVP made HUGE mistakes in all of his games. He underupgraded, he fought bad fights, and he was just unimpressive. When you throw away your early armies in bad fights, you deserve to lose. When you let your opponent play super greedy, you deserve to lose. When you throw away all of your SCVs you DESERVE TO LOSE. Its that simple. He misplayed. Stop claiming its because "P is OP" and actually look at the games.

A lot of players (ie: Jinro) don't ladder, its not a big deal.

Anyways, I can't wait for group selections now, will be weird to see what happens.

The whole balance whining is so rediculous, i have not seen any Protoss today abuse anything against MVP. They made collosus, which was no suprise and MVP could not handle it. He played really bad, deal with it.

I am eagerly awaiting Adelscott VS MVP. Wondering how MVP will handle the style of Adelscott, if he can handle the french Gateway-Fan.
