How do you guys even know GOM was responsible for the drop? Could have been something completely out of their control.

Part of me would actually like to see them in Code A. And i don't mean "i want them in Code A" but i think a Code A with one of those 2 players in it could be fascinating viewing next season.

I think it would be fascinating viewing for sure, but I also firmly believe they are both very deserving Code S players and I'd hate to see them match up vs one of the possible sick new qualifiers next season early (bomber/puzzle/DRG/Hero etc are all competing) and have us lose one or the other

I have been possibly one of THE most patient people in the past 5 seasons as far as "accepting" that sometimes, shit may go down. Its their first couple of seasons, blah blah blah.

5 Seasons in, I'm $50 down, and I'm going to want to start to see what I pay to see.

If they took away the HQ stream all together, do you think people would pay ANYTHING for the VoDs?
The legalities may be in your favor, but simply, the common sense isn't.
I pay money to watch it first, live, in HQ, and to discuss with my friends, etc etc etc...
I'm sure almost all subscribers are in the same boat.
Play the games!

Hey guys I get that some of you are pissed over the stream crashing, and that's totally cool. If you wanna withdraw your support then do so and gtfo of the LR thread so I can follow the match while I'm at work. Thank you.

Both players going hatch before pool, NesTea getting an earlier pool and gas.

People remember sanzenith when he got in Code S? Everyone was shitting on him about how he don't deserve it. Well, with training and little luck, look where he is now. And we all jump on his bandwangon throughout his Code S match. Huk could do the same.

ManZenith is a living legend because he blocked his own FE, lost 2 games in 10 minutes and was a joke to the entire SC2 community. HuK, like every foreigner, has a huge number of frankly ridiculously biased fans who fill every LR thread with "OMG HUK BEST PLAYER EVER" and "OMG HUK LOST NOT WATCHING GSL ANY MORE". San and HuK are rather different.

Top 8 code a get a spot in the up and down matches, which gives them the chance to fight the lower 16 code S for a spot.

I think maybe a more fair and more exciting up/down match would be the top 8 in code A play a bo7 vs the bottom finisher from each of the 8 groups in code S. Doesn't seem right that the 8th place code A guy can get lucky and knock out a code S guy in a bo3, and you shouldn't be punished for finishing 3rd in your group. Bo3 is just too short to get a good read of who is truly the better player. It'd also set up for some really epic matches.

(On topic: I have no idea who to root for, I like all 3 of these guys. Guess I'll go for Leenock and edit: Nestea *not FD*)

He made it to the top 8 of Code A, therefore qualifying him for these matches

Just a slightly offtopic question (in case anybody notices it) - if say Ret manages to get to Code S next season, shouldn't we get a spot for Liquid in the GSTL?

Ret went home though. But i guess if haypro does then liquid has a chance. Not sure because it is the top 8 teams and there are new teams like MVP and whichever team san is in. So i doubt they will be in

I don't pay for premium but for the people defending GOM is it so wrong that people should get the service that they pay for?

When you pay for premium, you are paying for the HQ VODs, not the stream. The stream is just a bonus.

They are getting what they are paying for.

That doesn't make any sense.

If you are paying money and they give you something, you're paying for it. How is the "higher quality" stream not being paid for if thats exactly what you get when you pay?

"Note. This ticket guarantees only VOD service of GOMTV.NET. Members who purchase a ticket, are able to watch HQ live service, however, live stream may lag or be cut off due to different circumstances of each viewer."

If you're worried about the stream possibly going down while you're watching, then wait for the VODs lol. They're up in HQ a few hours later?

You are paying them money, then they give you VODs and HQ stream.

Therefore, you are paying for them both.

What you said just looks like fancy wording so they don't have to care about the stream as much as people would like.
