Come on TL, time to live report in the live report threads, instead of endless whining. |

Hopefully the next Code S tournament will really awaken the beast.
After seeing all hes code A games so far i would only call him mediocre out of all gsl players.

yeah, i got that too when trying to start the hq-stream, so i used to old trick of first starting the sq stream for ticket holders, closing gom and then restarting hq and it worked. might just have been a coincidence but have worked for me before as well

I can always count on teamliquid LR threads for hilariously poor arguments. Thanks for the laughs everyone. Let's try to talk about the games.

Fuck you GOM. Shit happens. They are constantly improving. So quit whining. There's still a VOD the next day. That's bull. Last season was much much better for me in stream quality/other issues. I've yet to see a steady improvement except between second and third season. Because you yourself knows that the production quality they provide is so easy to prevent a technical difficulty from happening right? Get real. Wtf? You were the one saying "They are constantly improving." which is complete bull and has nothing to do with production quality or if it's easy. Get real sonny. If you don't think they have improved tremendously from season 1 you obviously did not watch the stream in season 1. Yes, of course it has improved, but situations like this, when people wait for hours, Huk loses first match then it is 1-1 in second match and it goes down to a decisive game, the qualification to Code S is at stake and then... you have to read on a forum what eventually happened because Gom crashed.
Yes, the stream has improved from the first season, but things like this still happen and this particular situation made what was supposed to be a very happy moment in a thing that makes you regret that you are following the tourny.

I don't follow the GSL format heavily, can someone let me know if HuK is counted out at this point?

Really hope nestea wins this first set vs leenock, if MKP vs Nestea were to occur I would be so sad that one of them would be in code A Nothing against leenock but I just prefer the other two players. Gogo nestea!!

Look, I don't know about your experience with prostitutes but GOM provides VODs at extremely high quality quickly, and the VODs always perform. Services have improved MEASURABLY every single season. Time to chill out and understand that eSports is a small, and growing enterprise whose leader at this point is GOM. Chill out, and get out of hardcore capitalism mode for a second. GomTV are running a CAPITALIST company. Give this shit out for free, and I will shut the fuck up. Charge me for a service, and fail to provide the service, Ima get mad. The streaming IS FREE. The VODs are what is paid for; HQ stream is a FREE, COMPLIMENTARY service. If you're so into capitalism, READ THE CONTRACT and then SHUT the %^$^ up?
No, the HQ stream is NOT a free complimentary service, you can't segregate the fucking two for the sake of semantics. This car is 10,000 - the wheels are FREE! No.

OGN: free VODs, reliable stream GOM: VODs that are as expensive as an MMO, stream that goes down all the time. It's too bad Bliz picked the wrong company to grow ESPORTS. You call $10 expensive? Do you live in a box? Did you read my post? I think it's silly to pay as much to watch a game as most people pay to play a game. That's just me. GOM isn't forcing you to pay for VODs. They are accommodating you. There's still free streams. Whiners gon whine. Way to address none of my points. I did. Your brain just can't comprehend it. There's a big difference. It's called stupidity.

Actually it's not capitalist, there's no competition, GOMTV can crash every other game and they'll still make money because no one's allowed to compete with them in Korea.

Just a slightly offtopic question (in case anybody notices it) - if say Ret manages to get to Code S next season, shouldn't we get a spot for Liquid in the GSTL?

That sounds like some sneaky contractual bullshit so that you can't formally file complaints/ask for refund when HQ stream fucks up. If it really was a "free, complimentary service" then it should be open to everyone. not really. It's like getting extra sushi from ordering the extra large plate. If that extra sushi was availiable to everyone who orders any plate, that would be just plain stupid.

Didn't Huk drop out of gsl? Think i saw him loose his last gsl match, then why is he here fighting in the up/down matches?
Anyway, nice done huk

Stop talking about streams you're ruining this thread i paid for.

Hatch first for both players, should be a very good game!

Both players go for HATCH FIRST!

Gom has said themselves several times that what you pay for when you buy a season pass is NOT the livestream, or the HQ stream, or anything else streamrelated, it is the vods. You pay, you get a HQ stream. If they later say that one is not the consequence of the other, that does not make it the reality. Clearly you got the HQ only because you paid first.
