lol, of course not since nothing is close to championship prize payout he won in both GSL.

And I think its only around 3K-ish for his winnings here. 8K was like the whole prize pool.

Don't think so considering he's made over 100k in the GSL...

First place was like $3400 Euros or ~almost $5k USD.

Total earnings 100k?
Still the ev of the eurolans is surely higher, gsl season lasts a month+ and he will have to qualify again for code S where at the lans he comes without qualifying, plays for a couple days and scoops $5-7K with a lot softer player pool.

And yeah I looked at it wrong I thought 6.7k is 1st place its just 3.4k

No way. He's made over $180,000 from GSL plus every code S gets a salary of $1200 a mo.

Interesting how not many people are here giving credit to MC for beating Kas, who was up until he lost to MC today, heralded as one of THE BEST foreign Terrans etc etc. Yet everyone is so happy bashing MC in his 2-3 loss to Thorzain.

Grats MC on this win, now please stop travelling so much and focus on GSL, it's better money anyways =).

It's because most people expected MC to win both, and to beat Thorzain like he did against Kas. The fact that he lost to Thorzain is a bigger deal, since no one expected as such. I suppose no one also expected MC to 4-0 Kas, but I'm pretty sure most expected him to at least win a BO7.

Edit: Also, this is a foreigner forum. There is obviously going to be bias (and rightfully so...no shame in rooting for fellow countrymen and such).

One big difference is that Kas didn't have time to prepare against MC while Thorzain did have lots of time.

Safe to say Thorzain also has a lot less tourneys to travel around for, I think TSL is his only big tourney.

Same goes for MC.
Curious that we spend more time congratulating people who have succeeded than encouraging people who have not. 파이팅! ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ"
