1. Top 8 koreans were selected by points earned in Code S. 2. Morrow, Jinro, Moonglade and Huk were initially given spots due to their tournament achievements. 3. 2 spots from EU qualifiers, 1 spot from US qualifiers (Since HuK got a spot) and 1 from SEA qualifiers.
HuK had to play in qualifiers.... But you know there were only 4 people for NA qualifier and one of them didn't show so he got a free pass (lucky bastard)
EDIT: Going to be sick, I'd like to see The foreigners at least make for exciting games. It's crazy that most of the qualified foreigners are zergs :o.
its just a pity the strong "rookies" such as MMA Alicia Losira Yonghwa arent fielded due to the criteria, but i guess u can't always have the ideal state, just like foreigners don't have their "best" guys too.
who knows?
its going to be an epic event nevertheless (hopefully not too one sided)
and im sure more stuff like this will happen in future
As much as I want foreigners to win, just looking at the korean lineup is fucking insane. I will root for the foreigners but my liquibet will most likely be for the koreans.
HQ Stream and Vods are going to be free? FREE?!? FREEEE!!!!!
This is going to be so awesome. Combining the awesomeness of the Pokemon-battle Team League format with the awesomeness of the Korean and World SC2 scenes clashing before our eyes for our entertainment.

They really should've just called it Korea vs. The World cuz that's basically what it feels like they're trying to do.
Exactly, and that is the true. There are two scenes: Out-Korea and Korea. GomTv is doing the logical.

Korea vs the World is what is taking place the first two days with this, and is really the most exciting thing at least for me in this. Then the following days it breaks into a Ro16 tournament, which is just as great. Many people want to see foreigners vs Koreans, and this gives us just that.
Am I missing the info for who is casting somewhere? I assume Tastosis for the Individual Tournament but what about the Team League since Artosis is coaching? So hyped for this :D
