I would have liked seeing faster thor switches for Nada, but was loving the bling targeting by tanks otherwise these games would have been over much sooner. July is a beast and his unique style completely overwhelmed Nada today... I don't know that it something he could do over and over again without diminishing returns though. Not to mention, I can't wait to see Leenock in code S because I love infestor play and besides Fruitdealer no one else in Korea seems to use it.

July's style looked really good, if he continues to hone it he can become one of the top ZvT players, if not the best.
say you were born into a jungle indian tribe where food was scarce...would you run around from teepee to teepee stealing meat scraps after a day lazying around doing nothing except warming urself by a fire that you didn't even make yourself? -rekrul

People here can't tell what skill is if it hit them in the face ... MC may very well win , but i don't think it will be because of some huge skill gap between them , but because PvZ meta game and balance right now is slightly in P's favour .

It's not just skill. It's a style mismatch. Have you seen how MC punishes aggressive Zergs? It's brutal, really brutal. Seriously, it's so much easier to be influenced by Artosis and Tasteless than to actually analyze it yourself. And if people are really objective, they'll know that MC will beat July for the 3rd time if they ever meet in the finals. July's only chance if that Amulet change goes live before the finals so that his muta/ling strat would become stronger.

I don't get influenced by what others tell me . I say what i say purely on my own knowledge . I've been watching July play for over 5 years in BW . July can play any style even thought he prefers to be aggresive . He can play really good management games if he wants to . July's timings in PvZ aren't as tuned as they were in BW , but he is still probably one of the best ZvPers right now in SC 2 , even if he hasn't fully shown it .

Maybe. We'll see. I still think that JulyZerg is winning because (like MarineKing's marine style) his style is different so people are not used to it or can't really practise against it. But once people get used to it, it's gonna be different.

WOOOOOOOOW ! That was the BEST SC2 Bo5 I've ever seen. If on top of that you add the fact that these were 2 of my 3 favorite BW pros It just feels better than Xmas.

He's cocky because he's awesome and his personality is great to see someone with confidence. Also I'd bet good money he's half fucking around anyhow.

Why do people keep saying he's cocky, he's confident in his ability but I don't think he even ceremonied after raping HongUn, or did he? If he did it must have been pretty small.

Either way he's really cool and I love his builds. HongUn is good looking imo (nohomo) but too bad he tried to rely on luck and not skill, oh well glad to see that not pay off unfortunately ~

Well, he's been like this since BW, just now he can back up the big talk. Like in every single series during GSL 3 he said he was going to 4-0 everyone, and that everyone just played into his hand, and that everyone was below him, which was true at the time, but still

Game 5 was a pro version of what happens to me when I'm not aggressive early and often with zergs. Once a good zerg gets that many mutas against a Terran... well, you probably shouldn't let that happen.

I like aggressive players, but I still don't see July taking down MC if it comes to that. I'm predicting more "me win" ceremonies.

Well, I'm not gonna lie. I feel like Nada could have done way better in a lot of those games if he had gotten thors out earlier. Especially 3 (which he won) and 5 (which he lost)

^ I think July's ling+bling pressure makes it so difficult to squeeze out non-siege tank production from factories early on without losing right away, but from an observer standpoint I do agree with you.

Just finished watching the Nada vs July series and it was really awesome.
One thing I don't understand though is why Nada didn't make any single drop. Thought it was pretty effective in that kind of situations (harass expands for example) ...
Any idea for that ?

I believe the consistant pressure from July had limited out that option. Plus with that amount of mutas of map control there is a very good chance the mediv gets picked off even before the drop. Too risky imo

Thats debatable. Nada seems to be pretty bad with his siege tanks, and loses them pretty unnecessarily.
But even one thor could have swung around the game during the middle.

Lol at people saying that July plays innovative. He has done baneling busts like 70% of his games at gsl and terrans he is facing are just not walling-in properly or making silly mistakes. I'm actually really suprised how sloppy Nada played. No thors vs mutas? So many times caught unsieged, not scanning before pushing, lol... July may have won this series, Nada is not yet there... but MC is gonna crush July 4:0 ez. Calling it.
