Did he actually play well, or is he just "winning" Rain completely outplayed Jjun, who looked slightly weak in the face of Rain's surprisingly effective non-cheese, macro-based play. Of course, according to the recommended games poll, you should definitely check out game 2 on Terminus Re. Jjun looked quite helpless in the face of Rain's excellent banshee micro and superior siege tank positioning. Jjun played somewhat strong, though he had some very questionable decision making. The Rain that played tonight has improved greatly since his runs through GSL3 and GSL4. He actually looked like a legitimate contender for retaking his Code S spot.

This is correct. Code A players who advanced to Ro8 get two chances to get to Code S. IEM winner only gets one shot at it. But it still irks me that they'll get a free Code A spot after being knocked out in the first round. Yeah but taking iem is no pushover either, it's basically like qualifying for code A. And getting 13000 dollar for it On the other hand all ESL participants had to give a free win to their codeA/S matches to be able take part in IEM. Three people giving up their Code A spots for one chance in Up/Down matches. I don't know if it's fair or not but it's a good sign that GSL has started cooperating with ESL. I'm also wishing that Gom will be more flexible with players wanting to attend other tournaments in the future.

Feel bad for Alive tho, felt like he should have won vs OgsSupernova. Though he made a really bad decision, with his tanks. Also Idk why he opted to cheese, Supernova game one.

Win. this seems like an extremely intelligent move, considering everyone left in the tournament failed code a but will just automatically get to code s. A+ Not particularly any worse than seeding a bunch of people into code A, would you agree? oh snap

I think it goes from cool colors to warm colors.

IMO, linking the APM to the progression of the visible light spectrum would also be a bit confusing. Not everyone knows physics, so not everyone will realize that red is at the lower end of the spectrum and purple is at the other end. I think the Razer headsets are progressing from "cold" colors to "hot" colors, which would be reasonable considering that hands will "warm up" as the APM increases. Blue to red sounds like a reasonable color set for the cold to hot colors mentality.

I'm pretty sure there's no official "tiering" of the units, but how is... Barracks -> Factory -> Starport -> Medivac/Viking T3 when Gateway -> Core -> RoboticsFac/Twilight -> RoboBay/Templar -> HT/Collosus is T3?
