For me this has been the primary reason I began paying more and more attention to the GSL to the exclusion of other sc2 tournaments. True. it might be my selective memory working, but i can't remember any big esl-event that did start on time and had no problems with streaming.

But according to the people who post during the 5 minute blackout GSL has once or twice a season GSL has the worst streaming service known to man.

that's awful, it's trying to compete with GSL which offers unlimited HD VODs if you have the season, I'm not liking this at all. also it's being run at the same time as GSL, why? Just.... why compete at all?

The free stream was down for 6 minutes and you're talking about epic fail? >.<

this one has 7000 viewers currently. Use http://tv.esl.eu/de/esltv_stream/ to have an overview of all the streams.

Last year the whole first day of the IEM world finals was basically canceled because of technical problems, it was really bad. The whole time they said "30 more minutes" until 5 hours had gone by.
