These polls are just making me think that people up-vote any macro game of decent length despite the quality of play. I rather watch a well executed early game all in then have to suffer through some absolutely trash game sense in a long game. The length just makes the poor decisions that much more agonizing

Well, SanZenith vs oGsEnsnare for #1 & #2 in the group.... ARGH (at least Ensnare is good)
Are you implying San didn't play well today?

Do you watch GSL for the excitement of live casting of that high level of play or for known names you like?

Well, to be honest, if I was Code A this season, I'd hope to get the first picks. I would not want to go against these players. Granted, Nestea and MVP lost, but based on their current result, this won't be happening frequently.

You have to be legend in SC1 and keep it forever or what? They're previous champions mean they must advance no matter how bad they play ? Pls give some credits to the winners dude. Stronger doesn't mean winner. Agreed, its not like that got cheesed (although I thing even that would be ok). They lost fair and square, they just played worse than theit opponents.

The possibility of BoxeR in code A makes me sad T_T

You know what this reminds me?
It reminds me of the 2009 NATE MSL round of 32 group between Bisu (BW equivalent of a strong champion like NesTea), sAviOr (equivalent of Boxer, an old superstar struggling to recover his former glory), GuemChi (somewhat good, but never achieved anything, like Ensnare) and Bogus (who the f is this kid, like SanZenith).
The result was in a surprising turn of events, the absolute crowd favorites Bisu and Savior were knocked out by GuemChi and Bogus. It's very similar to what transpired today.

Are you shitting me? These guys are coming in and playing the games of their life, and you think that makes the GSL unwatchable??? I would rather watch inspired games by unknown players than standard boring games by top name players. I have no emotional investment in seeing Ensnare or San =\ This GSL season just got quite a bit less interesting to me when Boxer and NesTea are two of my favorite players to watch.

What? San played bad?

Winning Code A will be very important now, a random drawing against Nestea or MVP could keep someone like Huk or Squirtle from getting into Code S
