I'm not taking any credit away from Huk here, its a solid play and his defence was good - but it wasn't amazing play either. The early game play WAS amazing. He is dimensions different from the way he was before korea. The most impressive part was the stalker control. He is simply not afraid of terran bio, even in the early game. He actually took out marauders with concussive shells as if it was normal. At every single turn he made the better decision and had the better control. qcx couldn't do anything. You won't see that from other protosses. The late game however was sloppy and he built som random pylons (pylons are good for scouting drops sure, but you could tell some of them were just built for fun). He was really cost inefficient and wasted colossus and so on. But I think that was just because the game was already over. But the early game play definitely made me think HuK is the best player here. As long as he concentrates in the late game, I have a hard time seeing anyone taking him out. Perhaps you have to be protoss to appreciate it but the early game play WAS freaking amazing. ...? I'm sorry but I see players on ladder doing the same. 2 rax pressure can be defendet especially with Zealot / Stalker. Huk used stalker only with good scouting and knew his opponent went up in tech (hellion) so a really hard Marauder/Marine push is unlikely to occur. He played good in defence, but it was nothing amazing really. Naniwa is the same, White-rA is the same, also Adelscott can defend well with gateway units.. so yeah. I don't know your level, but I'm not impressed by things like that. I have much more respect of Zergs reading the game well than that. And no, the early game was not FREAKING AMAZING. It was rock solid. Edit: And please don't missunderstand this as talking Huk done. Because I think he's a really good if not amazing player. I just don't understand that hype for actions like that. nearly all your posts lately sound very biased Biased towards what? I'm just not hyping anyone for small actions. If Huk wins the whole thing I'm saying he did show rock solid performance and was the best player in that tournament and won deserved, but I'm not saying. Ahh no competition for Huk there, he'll win easily without a keyboard. not just huk, towards protoss in general Could you please see the results ... ? and the race distribution as of now? Don't bother with him, he is not making any sense. (The other guy that is) You mean me, or him? IEM was a different story, when all the Protoss played A WHOLE DIFFERENT style and Terran was saying that Protoss is not playing right, being killed in early game. Now when the Protoss know how to play the early game and stay defensive or defend well early/midgame, they come ahead by a lot in late. Obviously you can try to punish it with being greedy, but thats not an easy thing to do. I'm not QQ'ing imba, but who denies that the following changed: Protoss gamestyled changed from really offensive / allin to defensive expansion Terran is behind in lategame Protoss is amazingly strong in defence! Just doesn't understand TvP. I have a good AoE spell with EMP and a mobile strong army especially with upgrades, but I just don't have the hitpoints to battle the Protoss lategame AoE especially with reduced mobility due to forcefields.
Protoss has adapted and learnt how to counter bio play. Now its terrans turn to adapt (hint: MECH)

lol love the terrans freaking out the first time a euro tournament isnt 80% Terran... would like to see more zerg though, and TvT is much more entertaining spectator wise than PvP so its a bit of a shame. Hoping for PvZ finals wouldn't that be something :p.

I think because everyone ( Polish , Finnish, Russian) streamers respect him. He always makes sure all streamers are in before starting and therefore all the other sreamers always invite him to games whenever there are downtime.
It's kinda cool how everyone says " Hii Khaldor We like you" everytime he jumps into a game.

I think he has improved vastly during his time in Korea.
Did not appreciate his play much in MLG, but I'm quite happy with this recent sneak-preview of what will hopefully be HuK in Code A GSL.
HuK fighting!

I was talking about the other guy trolling you.
And yea I agree. After watching the GSTL where Protoss dominated Terrans so much, I really was convinced that in PvT, if a protoss can drag it to the lategame he will have a good chance to win.

All I'll say is that these two games HuK vs qxc, qxc really impressed me just because it was totally one-sided. I mean, it wasn't even close. I doubt white-ra and nani could make it that one-sided. Or perhaps you think qxc is overrated? If you want to call it rock solid, then sure. Rock solid. And I'm good enough to know what I'm talking about . Yes, I think Naniwa can make it equally one-sided. Easily. He has one of the best army - controls I've ever seen of a player. I really never have seen Naniwa fuck up badly in a fight / micro situation. Thats really one of his strengths.
Then I haven't seen enough of him. I've no problem accepting that there's lot of rock solid / great players.
But then again, if you do recognize that they are really, really great; then why did you make the post saying. "meh, that was nothing special".
