So because he lost 2-4 to Jinro... one of the very best terrans in world, he isnt up to "the mark"? And "chickening" out prolly has more to do with NASL than anything else. I can't imagine many foreign pro's wanting to travel to Korea for GSL now. Living in Korea you sacrifice everything for one tournament, but now they won't have to do that to compete in a grand tournament.

Edit: nvm, there's a better thread for what I wrote

The bad manners IdrA shows to others points to his over valued self worth. He goes out of his way to show that he believes others are inferior to him, and then makes excuses of imbalance or over powered when he loses. The reality is IdrA acts like a jerk, because he is a jerk, and his ban history here is just one example of that.

Yeah definitely Incontrol has a great personal appeal and presence in the community but Gretorp was not coming off very well and the production was questionable(trying to be nive^^). However If I understand this correctly the money is coming from the guy behind the gosucoaching site so I guess they can do what they want with this. I wish them the best of luck with it, really looking forward to nasl.

What major tourny has he won inside korea since being in korea across BW or SC2?

I'd imagine most of the guys who have had or will have a say in the prize structure for NASL are in favor of distributing the prize money further down the rankings. Gotta encourage people to take the risk to come to NASL knowing that if they don't win, they at least go home with something.
Also, why am I getting the distinct impression that only the "Grand Finals" will be held in a live studio setting?

You should've added (outside Korea) Koreans might want a piece of the action for that kind of money. But if $100,000 is the prize pool, GSL's "big" tourneys that award $87,000 to the top player alone still top it. Whoever is sponsoring this will clearly be able to pay for a smoother production and presentation than the announced announcement. Anyways, how exciting! They need to clone John if there ends up being a Korean stream. GG Jinro.
Your a bit behind, the GSL prize pool is half what it used to be. Top player makes a little under 50k.

Guy just mouths off yet doesn't do anything decent himself considering he has been in korea now for what seems like forever... Be more clueless. Seriously. Being known as one of the top 3 (worst case scenario, 4?) zerg players in the world clearly means he's not decent. Clearly he's got no skills. Edit: Also, by insulting IdrA you're merely diminishing Jinro's accomplishments as well. If he's so bad, Jinro should've completely ran over him without a sweat. Don't be ignorant.
Maybe im saying Idra should step back and take a look at how good some of these guys actually are before attacking them himself. I'm not saying Idra is bad, im saying Jinro is that good.
Everyone else is sayign Idra is the shiz

distinct impression?
they openly state it in the FAQ on the page that only the top 16 are going to compete in a LAN event.
