The organizers bit off more than they could chew. The showmatch was heavily hyped and a lot of effort was put into the presentation and production values. Interviews, overlays, HD stream, two good commentators etc., all the ingredients for a successful event were there. The end result just wasn't very satisfying. When all you do live is basically play a playlist of prerecorded videos, they better be in sync. Also, the silent pauses in between the games kinda killed the mood for me. A+ for effort, D for execution. It also annoyed me how Idra GGed so early in a few games, but that's of course not the organizers' fault. It might also have been a good idea to provide a second stream perhaps on ustream.tv because many people (not me, it worked fine for me at 720p) had problems with the stream. A great event nevertheless, keep it up! Now let's hear the announcement! | ||

The players will be fighting for a $100,000 prize in the first season. There will be a free stream and a paid stream in HD; matches will be broadcast live five nights per week, and re-broadcast in the mornings for our European audience. What's included in the paid stream? You get access to the VODS, an HD stream, and full access to all NASL replays. What the hell was him move clicking all his banes on the tanks and thors? wasted like 20-30 banes on them. It feels like Idra's micro isn't good enough anymore to maximise the zerg's macro power at least against Jinro... That being said it's a different caliber of player, we expect him to play that well | ||
