Also, some lag is fine, but out of synch is unacceptable. It's been happening all the time on the GCPL as well, and I absolutely LOVE those matches (much better overall than this match), but not being on synch really hurts. Right now, the problem I see, is that even with the HUGE hype and awesome players you got, the cast and overall the event just isn't exciting enough. As it is, I insist, there's nothing like the GSL. I hope the NASL has better production values, it has great potential!! Anyways, this is not meant as a bashing, it's just a few thoughts on the event, and how I think it could improve.

There would be lag, internet issues, etc. people like to complain. and we're fueling the fire by complaining that they're complaining. everyone'll be happier if they just shut up and watched the games instead of thinking of new things to complain about, but not holding my breath for that happening any time soon.

Then how was anyone mislead? Does it matter if the game is live or off a replay? The casters don't know the result beforehand. When they're casting the game, it's the first time they are seeing it.

It's obvious that a lot of effort was put into this for the benefit of the SC2 community, and to hype the big announcement. It's a real shame that a lot of frustrated people choose to take out their aggression anonymously everywhere they go on the internet. A lot of these forum posts (this one, the GSL code A, the kelly announcement as a few examples) are looking like little more than your average YouTube comments list. Kudos and thanks to Geoff, Gretorp, Greg, Jinro, and anyone else involved who took the time to provide us with some free entertainment while repping e-sports.
