You be the judge. Crossfire's match not being recommended is because of unit control, not because of map balance yet.

These team leagues are great, I really agree that watching these games are quite different than a 1v1 league because of the team environment. Hope there are more tournaments of this style.

Agreed. They should have a team league every month in the time between GSLs. It's awesome to see all my favorite players together facing off against each other in teams. Plus, the drama associated with possible all-kills/3-kills really makes it even cooler to watch.

Perhaps FXO and EG could form some sort of partnership to work together in the future so that they could make an eligible foreign team with their players that are in Korea together?
After all the EG house should be ready soon and they'll move some of their players in for sure. I also remember reading FXOBoss wanted to secure a team house in Malaysia correct so that they can have a foothold on the Eastern Tournament scene. I would think between the two teams they could easily field a team of 8, and could very well have a chance to get enough players in Code S/A
I could see a team of:
EG.Idra EG.iNcontroL EG.DeMusliM EG.Grubby FXO.mOOnGLaDe FXO.mOoNan FXO.Optikzero FXO.Filthy
Or something close to that They could possibly do some damage in the Korean scene. I'd be surprised if it would actually happen, but it would be pretty cool

not only would that never happen, do they even have enough players in code S&A to be in gstl? doesn't seem like it.

Machine.. really..?
Anyways back on topic. Squirtle was so epic.. Can't wait for tommorow oGs-TL WHAITING

True, Grubby is not good now, but when is the next GSTL? They got time :p Also just hypothetical, as I have no idea who team EG would put in the house, as going to/living in Korea is quite the investment in terms of availability in other tournaments outside Korea
And yes, squirtle was pretty epic Gotta save their big guns for the next round :p

I was responding to someone asking if the maps had seen good macro games yet. Usually macro games are highly recommended. I wasn't saying anything about the balance of the maps.

I think this is the only place you can find them from: http://www.gomtv.net/2011gstl1/vod/

How bad-ass would it be to have GSTL be 2v2s though? IMMVP and IMNestea :D

Proleague used to have a 2v2 segment I think. It sounds fun in theory but in practice it wasn't that popular and it got cut eventually.
I wouldn't mind not-so-serious team game segments with pro players but if they did it long term I probably wouldn't watch those matches.
