It's like some people are still on the level of an 8-year old. When Jinro lost to SelecT he said he had lag issues, but that in the end his opponent just played well. I think the world will end as soon as IdrA admits that he lost a game because his opponent played well.
You've obviously never playing ZvT when Terran knows how to execute that kind of push. The only times I can remember beating it is when my opponent sucked and didnt realize I build a nydus along the path (usually under the mineral line of the expo), letting me get a surround. If Terran does what he's supposed to though, its ridiculously hard.

Have you not been watching the recent TvZ's on Shakuras close positions in the GSL? All of the Terrans abuse that back-door push and as we've seen from both Nestea and Idra's games it's incredibly difficult to stop. Yeah Shakuras is a good map, but the fact that 'the best map in the pool' has this lame back-door push is just a sentiment to how bad the maps are in the current situation. I've got nothing against drewbie, but there's no way he can beat Idra given fair conditions.
Obviously, he can.

People are getting way too bent out of shape over his loss to Drewbie. While I don't think he's better than IdrA, it was smart of him to abuse the choke and push through it since it's pretty much impossible for IdrA to stop it.
The map has severe issues that Terran can exploit but you can't hold it against Drewbie.

What the hell are these comments about "abuse" or "Exploiting" etc etc etc?
One could say that IdrA is exploiting the small cost of a hatchery, because its so so cheap, he can get it early. ABUSE!
Zerg is the most mobile race in the Game. With good creep spread down that hallway you can see it coming from a long way away. The narrowness of the corridor also means that marines can't micro very well away from banelings, which means they can only run one way, leaving tanks open.
I can't believe the amount of people crying foul. Its a situational game. In this situation the back corridor was used. It isn't a secret, IdrA knew it was a strong possibility, you can defend it.
Drewbie is too GM to someone that has been very BM to him in the past.. All the more power too you.

its actually a joke that drewbie can beat idra. the guys terrible in comparison. his micro is bad, letting marnies stand still and clumped up vs blings in that game for example. his macro is bad, or his build orders are just badly thought out. in both of the games ive watched him in recently hes had like 1000 gas 10 minutes into the game. not only that but hes stupid enough to all in with all his scvs vs a protoss *whilst he was building an expansion command center* its pretty much proof that terran needs to be toned down especially with some of these pushes thru the rocks on scrap station and shakuras for example.

LOL maybe you should go pro then, since its so easy

sry m8 cant reply now - sending all my scvs with my attack n expandin at the same time atm

I think if they were at tourney or on same server IdrA would have come out on top.
Yes, it is not Drewbie's fault that IdrA is in Korea, but there is probably a good amount of lag playing on NA server all the way in Korea so that has to be factored in.
Furthermore, I think in a BO5 or something IdrA would also fare better.
Not even the best can win every single game ;p
Edit: Just wanted to give Drewbie credit, his build was pretty well executed, and it seemed like he was determined to defeat IdrA in that.

I got a good chuckle out of imbs, he sure knows his stuff.

Such meaningless drama.
GJ and congratulations to ROOT. It was fun to watch.

man, idra losing makes some nerds really mad.
A question: Do you chose which player plays on which map or is it random?

They choose the player for the map.
Shakuras is kind of 50% loss for zerg now just because of those close positions that idra/drewbie got very very hard to fight in those positions for zerg.
Was well played by drewbie he abused it well that guy who posted earlier on how drewbie is terrible lol such a troll post

Yes. You are given the maps and then you seed a player on that particular map. It's not like EG or ROOT decided an IdrA vs. Drewbie match, it was just a coincident they were both seeded on Shakuras. Anyways there is no need for anyone to blow this drama out of proportion. Shit happened, everyone moves on.

People are still trying to bash drewbie? That is pretty petty. Let it go already.

you're pro or you're imbs , thats life

I wonder how drewbie beat idra and many other PROgamers with poor micro, macro and build orders badly thought out.
he also won against jinro... and jinro is also Terran... and jinro even used his build against MK... there must be something wrong...

if you're going to attempt to vent, do it on the game and not the player.
Also if you have such great game knowledge and mechanics per your critique, why aren't you winning tournaments (just switch to T obv amirite)
anyway I'm sure drewbie is far above where you'll be in 6 months or even a year for now.

<3 Agh, but you are mistaken.
Obviously once Blizzard balances zerg, imbs will be #2 player in the world behind idra

m8s u guys seem to be addressin the wrong points. i compared drewbie to idra not to myself. he has massive flaws in his play compared. hes obviously decent but hes not nearly as good as some of the people he beats.
that being said, im pretty sure i was too smart to make the same decision drewbie did where he sent all his scvs whilst expanding when i was born.

This is the the most retarded post i've ever read on TL.
You're bad, drewbie is good. Get your fingers out of the cows butt before you type a post, everything you're saying is bullshit
