Ok guys so its finally here!
I'm putting up 50 dollars of my own money for this, and the prize money is going to be 40 for first and 10 for second :D
It's a small tournament and it should be a lot of fun
I am currently looking for helpers for organisation, so anyone willing to help will be very appreciated!
I will stream the whole event, and will try and cast games also

I will be updating brackets manually on my laptop, and will be casting on my main computer - if you win your group, then pm me ingame and i will mark it down, if you win your knockout best of 3, again PM me
I will be hanging out in the group channels 1-5, and sliver will cover 6-10

Rules/time/when/where:
+ Show Spoiler +You need an NA acc to play. Sorry EU! I'm from the EU too :< The tournament will take place at 10:00pm GMT+0 (UK time) on the 12 of Feb (saturday) 5:00pm EST, 2:00pm PST You MUST join channel "sc2bw" before the start time to participate. You MUST be in the channel by 9:00pm as we will inevitably need 1 hour worth of preparation to get people into the right groups. Get in the channel by 9:00, so game can start at 10:00. 10pm is the absolute cutoff point, if you aren't in your group channel by then, then you are auto disqualified, sorry! You will be sorted into groups of 4, and you will play a round robin, and the top player from each group progresses. In the event of a tie, the seeded player goes through When i announce the groups of 4, which will be done on THIS PAGE, you will join the chat channel associated with your group, and play your games out, then report to me (channel will be i.e tourna1) When i announce the group channels (well in advance), if the players who are meant to play arn't there by 10pm, then TOUGH LUCK they get disqualified. Get in your channel by 9pm! I really trust on you guys to sort out disputes amicably, but contact me if something goes wrong Then there will be a knockout tournament, Bo1 The semi finals will be Bo3 The finals will be Bo5 Save ALL your replays for dispute purposes/references, i would like to make a nice replay pack to create cool videos/highlights for this tournament

The map pool is as follows:

The way it works is one of you ban a map, then the second player bans another map, and you play on the one remaining. You are free to decide amongst yourselfs what map you want
If you cant decide (because you are being difficult) then ill force you to play match point. (no joke, play match point if you cant decide).
Bo3 will play all 3 maps
Bo5 will play all 3 maps, and then person who lost the last game gets to pick
When pairing off and playing, the rules for map selection and hardcore/ezmode are follows
If you BOTH agree on hardcore/ezmode, then you are allowed to play that mode
If one of you chooses one and one chooses the other, then YOU PLAY HARDCORE :D
There is no option to play "half" of the modes

I will be unfair with the sorting, as i will put any well known/high ranked/famous players in different groups, and try and structure the tournament so that we get an exciting finals.
This is for FUN, and the prize pool is there to generate interest, not to be a super $$$ tournament, so deal with my rules, and be nice and mannered and nice to me! I will almost certainly make mistakes during the process, so please support me
I will attempt to stream any exciting matches and any famous players!
Remember, this is a FRIENDLY tournament, so be mannered - if you cause a ruckus, be unmannered or just piss people off ill auto-disqualify.
At the same time, accept people will be unmannered to you, and try to take it on the chin like a good mannered BW player. Pretend you don't speak english or something and you're korean

I spoke with BrTarolg, and he was trying to get it featured on the calendar last I heard.
I'll be casting this tourney alongside my friend, but it'll unfortunately be on an unfeatured stream. It should be a lot of fun - he knows close to nothing about BW, I was just a measly D-ranked player myself. If anyone is interested in casting alongside us, let me know!
EDIT: The stream will be Tort De Lini's stream.

The main difficulty we face atm is gathering the results of players - i plan to have a laptop next to me where im going to record all the results of all the matches manually, but it would be good if i could have a way of getting the results of each match which is just better than pming me (so you got an extra person to pm!)
