ROOT Gaming, partnered with Justin.tv, Kingston Technology and Nerdstomper, is excited to announce a new invitational tournament! Overall 32 players will be competing in this tournament for a prize pool of $1200! The players are representing 12 different North American server based teams, plus one free agent.
We are also excited to announce the prize scheme. Each round win earns the player a certain amount of money, with increasing tiers as you get closer to the finals. This lets half of the players have some sense of success because they get paid if they win even one round. One of the issues with esports still being a fledgling enterprise is that only the very tip top get rewarded, and even people who do very well and end up in 5th to 8th place often get stuck with little or no money. Hopefully this will go towards making a new trend in tournaments following this new model, which we believe supports the pro gamer community by helping to make being a pro gamer much more viable in terms of income stream. Thus, the name, the ROOT Gaming Success Pays Invitational!

A huge thank you goes out to our sponsors, Justin.tv, Kingston Technology and Nerdstomper please visit them and check out their great selection of services and products! ROOT Gaming and all of our sponsors look forward to providing you all with some great quality matches and an exciting tournament. We hope you all tune in to catch the action!
While you are waiting though, we do have some great promotional giveaways provided by our equipment sponsor, Kingston Technology, which we will be announcing later this week!
If your match is NOT voted to be cast, then you will begin play at 8 pm EST. If your match IS voted to be cast, we will be casting them in order from the top of the bracket down. You are expected to wait and be ready to go as soon as we finish casting the match prior to yours. I understand that this can sometimes feel like a long wait, especially if you are the last match to be cast in the Round of 32, but please have some patience - we will be proceding with little to no downtime and will hopefully be moving quickly through the bracket.
Map Pool: Scrap Station, Lost Temple, Metalopolis, Shakuras
Every round is going to start on Xel'Naga, loser of the first game picks the next map after the winner gets to veto one map. Vetos only last for that one selection, as in if you're playing a best of 5 and really desperately hate Shakuras you have to veto it every game. Maps may not be repeated except for in the Best of 5 series Xel'Naga can be repicked once. No obs are allowed besides Raelcun and Ic3d. No casting is allowed by either player. No race switching is allowed. For the winner of the match, send me a message on bnet with the results and the winner is expected to save all replays, even those streamed, and email them to me at walamor@gmail.com. If there are any questions shoot me a message, I'll be online as ROOTSunDevil.158
Disconnects: If the winning player disconnects, it is a re-game. If the losing player disconnects, it is a win for the winning player. If it is too close to call it is a regame. Any decisions as to who was winning and who was losing are made solely by me.
All payments will be made over paypal.
If you are more then 15 minutes late without prior approval or knowledge, you will be auto forfeited for that round.

But big down is justin.tv... I dont like watching a stream lower than 720p (and justin for me and lots of europeans is only 240-360p max if there are many people on stream)

Sounds epic, really hope Gretorp vs Axslav is cast =]. If you guys want to change it up and have multiple casters going day 1 to cover more matches I'm happy to volunteer. Either way should be a great tournament, map pool is good as well!
Lol, I think it trickles down too much You win one bo3 and you're in the money. So guess everyone's not agreed on that one. Anyways, looks like a nice tournament. Looking forward to it^^

All invites are already sent and accepted.
I'm rattled :\
How were these players picked?
A variety of factors including but not limited to: past performances, visibility to the community, ladder ranking, availability to play in NA timezones, membership in high level gaming teams, good manners, and my own personal knowledge of the players.

I love the prize format, certainly gives players an incentive to fight for every game. I also like that the prize adds up for each tier instead of just being a flat make the ro8 and you get $40. Although I suppose you could really just re-jig it so that ro16 nets you $20 if you get past ro16 you lose that $20 but get $60 instead..... but I just like the way the tiers adding up feels, it would feel like you are making more money in some ways.
Catz/Jimmy Match better damn well be casted. Sweeeet tourney. Map pool would usually make zergs happy but so far i see catz being pissed he can't drone harass
I didn't get invited either! This is some blasphemy I tell you what!
Looks like an awesome time, wish it was an open tournament not invitational so I could participate ... should have done it like TSL, make a qualifier to add a few wildcards into the game!
We might be adding qualifiers in for future tournaments, but for right now the invitational format works out fairly well for us and helps us lock down sponsors when they knew for sure who is playing.
Also, as previously stated, a factor in determining who got invites was based on their available playtime for the North American time zones, and thus largely based on the top North American teams. At some point in the future we are open to expanding our reach but not in this event.

Ahh, so we won't get any Team Liquid members in the tourney except for possibly Tyler?

Thanks for the consideration SunDevil <3. I do believe the TSL3 Format would work just as fine, as you can still have the big names for the sponsors but some wildcards on the side as well for new aspiring gamers, and fun for the community
After we reveal the entire bracket we will be putting up the polls, so in about a week. You'll be able to vote 4 times, once for each block of 4 games, to determine what game from that 4 game block will be cast.
You've ensnared me. First the awesome payout structure which I think is great for the players, and now your slow bracket reveal and promise of future giveaways ensures that I'll be checking this thread more often than is healthy.
Like I said before, the invites were accepted well before I made this post. Also, like I said, we hope to start including European and other non-NA players in future events, but not for this particular tournament.
We're not trying to exclude anyone, and we clearly recognize the talent level on the other servers, but this tournament is primarily for North American players and clans.
For some apparent reason, I cannot uphold my previous agreement and take my spot for the ROOT Gaming Invitational. Please accept my solemn apologies, if you could find a suitable replacement for my spot so that the tournament may continue to run smoothly those would be my wishes, Thank you.

I like the concept. Not sure if it's superior to tourneys where only top3 win money, but I think it's a great idea to try a new format. Maybe it'll take off, maybe it won't. But you'll never know until you try. GLHF to the players.

Unluckily, not everyone can be invited. Usually, not just for this but for tournaments in general, invitations are made based on popularity, which is gained by previous results and such. you can also be really bad like me, but be lucky enough to be on a good team and stream enough to be 'popular' despite only havin won a few small tournaments and the jtv invitational, I get invited to many tournaments. so there's some pointers I suppose, good luck in the future!

response and painuser
I thought I had made it so there were no mirrors or clanmates vs clanmates in Round 1. As such, I have changed the bracket by swapping Gretorp and PainUser to prevent a LG vs LG matchup in Round 1.

Like I have said before, we have only invited players who can easily and normally play on US time zones because the entire thing is live. We don't want latency issues or time zone issues. This excludes (obviously) EU players and most of Team Liquid.
Bravo Bravo! GO GO for a flawless tourney, that all love and enjoy! The lineup is sick. Of course, a more international "all star" line up would be welcomed, but we all know just how hard it can be to schedule with players on a VERY different timezone (ie; Against TL in.. maybe... the last SGL?) Also.. I would rather not listen to whinging from people from other countries playing on NA server (ie; IdrA in latest GCPL)
All decisions are made "For the greater good" in my opinion, and we're SET for a bunch of epic games! Particularly seeing how well Faythe is going to fair! Raelcun is a good caster, so I'm pleased to hear he will be commenting! HOWEVER. Joshy is daaaayymmmn baller. He has been playing with picture in picture (ie; watching a drop in the corner, while the front door gets mashed) which adds a good element to the game! Let Joshy do his thing

Hmm, brackets seem majorly lopsided tbh, select, cruncher, machine, tt1, kiwi and fenix on the bottom half who are all more accomplished recently then anyone on the top half with only qxc and moonan standing out ( havent seen painuser play for a long time admittedly)

Qxc and moonan are the only standouts for you? That is quite odd to me - I feel like the brackets are fairly well balanced, though obviously it's pretty subjective and hard to get exactly right.

Ye i understand, it is your tournament afterall so you can do whatever you like, just expressing an opinion^^
While I love watching Catz play, I'd much rather see Axslav vs Painuser. It just seems like it would be an interesting match up. Maybe that's just because I see Catz play often on his stream and I haven't seen Painuser recently.
Other than that I agree with the other ones that are winning in the polls... though Slush vs Cruncher sounds like a really good one as well... not to say the rest aren't good, but those one's stand out in particular. I can't wait to see the results!0
Edit: Since it was mentioned I just wanted to quickly say that the top and bottom halves of the brackets look pretty even to me.

yeah, I tried lowering the quality, but that makes it only slightly better. All those GCPL matches I miss need hours to load and it's quite annoying. I'm having no troubles with VODs from ustream/YouTube etc., so I assume it's a justin.tv thing.
The song is God's Gonna Cut You Down by Johnny Cash. I'm sorry to all eager casters, but after consideration with the other organizers and sponsors, we're limiting the streaming just to our official streamers. I will also look into if we can get the VODs up somewhere, probably the official ROOT Gaming youtube.

12 more hours to go.... Unfortunately, the timing kinda goes against.... my effing job.....
Looking forward to the VoDs though! ROOT FIiiighting.
Oh, and if ROOT don't take the prize, I'm hoping for Sheth... Extremely GM for root to invite him after he went over to FXO. Also... VERY GM not to take pggBubbles out after the cannon hero bullshit he was pulling tonight. Truth be known, I would have put his name through paper shredder.
Totally looking forward to this. ROOT is an excellent team, doing a fantastic job of contributing to the NA e-sports scene. Absolutely up there with the other big teams.
But guys, you seriously need to consider designing a new logo for your team. Your brown trollface whateverthefuck it is is looking sooo unprofessional next to other team logos. Just imagine it hanging next to the professionally designed flags of the GSTL, or EG, or TL. >_>

What?! The logo is perfect, represents the great personality of the team. So awesome. In my humble opinion at least. Sick logo, sick team!
Only a few hours before takeoff! Gonna be epic, good games everyone.

haha, fair enough.
I actually don't have anything against a "personified" logo compared to the more abstract design/typeface logos of the other teams... but I guess I see his place rather as a mascot than the official team logo. >_>
EGIncontrol has informed me that due to a last minute timing issue, he will not be able to play tonight. His teammate and fellow protoss EGInka will be taking his place for the tournament.

I was under the impression that iNkA is no longer part of EG? Could anyone clarify this for me?

Ya this is what I was thinking. I love the little root guy, but I think it would also be cool to have a root logo in addition to him, and he would be more like a mascot. Meh, it won't bother me either way though.
On another note... it sucks to see that InControL won't be playing... I was looking forward to his game against Sheth.
Just found out that I'm getting my new internet tomorrow so SICK HD quality for the semis and finals, managed to get the quality up a bit for today as well but it will be full HD for the finals.

As a reminder to the players, if your match is NOT going to be cast, then you will begin play at 8 pm EST. If your match IS going to be cast, we will be casting them in order from the top of the bracket down.

Didnt you confirm naniwa as a replacement if someone dropped out, no offense to inka but nani is the better player
Good news guys, on late notice the Blizzcon Invitee from Latin America and protoss player Capoch has agreed to fill in for TTOne. I'm moving down the list on the poll to determine who gets cast because we're not doing the TTone vs Machine game, so the casting order will now be.
Games we will be casting tonight:

The reaper damage was exaggerated a bit by the casters. Catz actually handled it pretty well, losing those queens obviously hurt but since the hatch survived he wasnt far behind.
The food was actually equal after that. Jimmy of course did have more tech, and the casters were definitely correct about his push being too late. His marine micro was just not good enough for a push at that point of the game against zerg.

Wow, this is some bad manner from SunDevil. I remember distinctly SunDevil telling Naniwa that he could be a replacement for a player who decides to pull out of the tournament.

Do you remember SunDevil asking iNkA, Lz, Capoch, and others? No? Well maybe that's because he asked them before Naniwa threw his name in the hat. You don't have all the info, don't call him bm. =P

Fun seeing top named players play for money, but i don't know some of these guys at all. Would have been fun seeing some liquid guys from korea being invited because these matches are being played late morning, noon korean time.

That's weird. There's not a single person in the brackets that i'm not familiar with. I am quite pleased with the lineups! (though a little sad about some of the subs. Nothing against those that stepped up and filled in, but II wanted to see incontrol and select play! [and naniwa ]).
Thank god that bubbles managed to win that. The style of terran dde played makes me want to punch him in the face. Even saw that extra planetary fortress coming beforehand. Just sitting behind tanks, thors and pfs and waiting for opponent to throw away his army...
2 gate proxy in the terrans base, doesn't spot it. Looks bad for DDE since he walled in! Bad choice. Bubbles goes in with 2 zealots and his probe. Killing SCVs everywhere.
He stops the building bunker! And kills it!!
with all his SCVs dead from the 6 Zealots, DDE GGs!

Sounds more like Sundevil being nice seeing as it's a north american tournament and normally he wouldnt even allowed to be a replacement. He never said he was first on the list though did he?
Very nicely run tournament. Great games yesterday. Huge thanks to everyone involved. Good job hosts, players, casters and mods. And of course an extra big thanks to all the sponsors!
Looking forward to another great night today.
Personally I am very happy almost all my favorites made it to RO8! On that note, curious to know the results of the RO16 matches not yet played/updated in the bracket.
Edit: Ninjaedit after reading Shini's post and realizing I had forgotten to thank the great sponsors
All together a very well rounded event thus far. I can't help thinking that there just ISN'T enough credit here. There isn't enough credit for ROOT as a premier clan, and there isn't enough credit for Raelcun and IceD as casters. Not in this thread, obviously, but in the NA/Western SC2 scene. Outstanding efforts thus far people!
Also, Huge thank you to the sponsors. Keep doing what you're doing - I personally support the companies that support my interests!

I feel exactly the same way, BrahCJ. I know there will always be different point of views, and I can only represent my own. But In MY opinion ROOT is run and managed in a way that kind of blows my mind. The team is built from scratch. All these amazing people, a lot of them behind the scenes, have put in so many hours, days and weeks of hard work to get where they are now. They wanted to make it on their own, and they have succeeded. Under their own brand, 100% selfmade.
This takes guts, this takes determination and this takes a lot of time. The fact that the founders/leaders are top notch players themselves, makes it even more impressive. In addition to spending hours and hours doing what all progamers do, they also deal with the administration and politics that comes with running a team.
Not by any means am I trying to discredit other teams for being more established in the first place, I just want to maybe explain why I got so much respect and love for ROOT, and why I, like BrahCJ, feel like there isn't enough credit for this team.
Back on topic, hope to see you all tuned in later tonight!

Every established e-sport's team in existance started like this, by players for players and they stuck around long enough and made good enough decisions to become well established

Yes, I am aware of that. Maybe my post was a bit misleading. What I ment was, right now, or if you look at SC2 only, ROOT stands out compared to the others when it comes to philosophy and size. In a way it reminds me a bit of TeamLiquid in the early years.
The already established teams were known either from other games or for being around in Broodwar, when SC2 came out. Of course nothing but respect for that. Which also means the community easily recognize and give credit where credit is due to these teams, well deserved of course. Just wish more people would also open their eyes for ROOT
Either way, this isn't really the place for this discussion, I guess, sorry for getting off track for a while. Just wanted to clarify.
Just want to say this has been an awesome tournament so far. Really looking forward to tonight. Many thanks to the players, organizers, and sponsors! Also to whoever made the badass intro ^^
I am still rendering the giant ball of VODs. I should have the first few games up tonight. I believe SunDevil is going to be posting a full replay pack at the end.
♥ to everyone for a super successful first day. BrahCJ & fabulously hit the nail right on the head. I have never been involved with a more organized team with such sexy sponsors. Root will be among those leading the way into the future of Western E-Sports and I could not think of a better group of people to do just that.
Yesterday's games were awesome. I really feel like the level of play in SC2, especially in North America, is rising so rapidly and ROOT is partially to thank for that. Hope to see some more great games tonight!
Looking forward to tonights show. Great work so far SunDevil and everyone involved. And of course thanks to the sponsors for their support of e-sports! GL to everyone.
Both players expand relatively quick. Drewbie establishes mass bunker defense in front of his main. Minigun hopes to storm drop with storm+warp prism. Minigun hallucinates 3 colo as Drewbie scouts with factory. Minigun scans the colo results in a funny moment between players. Drewbie drops Minigun's main with a small marauder force. Drewbie kills Miniguns whole army as 0 forcefields are thrown due to really bad army positioning having to run back. Drewbie hits a very nice timing as storm finishes but no HT with energy are available. Minigun gg's and calls LT for g2.
Drewbie puts a bunker inside Minigun's main as a troll and expands behind it very quickly as he builds four raxes. Minigun goes 1gate+robo. Adds 2 gates. Minigun counter-pushes shortly after with 3 immortals + gateways units and breaks the bunker line at the expo with relative ease. Nice FFs prevent repair. Drewbie GGs.

thanks! Is it bo3?
Yes, it is. Game 3 was pretty long, might be better if you just watch it if there are VODs. It was really awesome. + Show Spoiler +
Cross-position on Metalopolis, drewbie went for his reaper build that kept Minigun at bay. Minigun wasn't quite sure if he should attack or not because of the constant threat of reaper counter. When they both were getting their third, Minigun managed to kill off drewbie's nat, but drewbie with his drops let him claw his way back up, but a well-defended attack put Minigun ahead. Again Minigun couldn't decide if he should counter. drewbie focused too much on getting medivacs so he didn't have any vikings for Minigun's increasing colossus numbers. Eventually Minigun attacked drewbie's third and drewbie gg'd from being too far behind (after some "bm").
Zelniq allows Kiwikaki to Archon Toliet him...In the second game, Zelniq didn't scout his base for proxy pylons, which was game over. Congrats to Kiwi.

Well, they were seeded that way. ROOT is putting on the whole show, so I guess it's alright if they see some sort of advantage. It's not like the other players had no chance.
I hope this is a strong enough message to Kingston that ROOT are pushing hard just as eSports is b-b-b-booming. Is it too outrageous of me to suggest that ROOT have qualified for a big title sponsor after this whitewash?
I still wish TT1 and incontrol could have hung around, I feel they were stronger players than their replacements, but all the same, a quick review of the top 200 for NA reveals that this tourney was fairly stacked!

Why do people keep saying this? Use your head. There are no team kills for ANY of the teams... not just root. You will notice none of the teams have any team kills until round 3, so how is it an advantage? They simply won their matches and played very well.
Coincidence that a Root hosted torny has an all Root semi? I think not. Even though they hosted the torny they should have seeded the brackets randomly like a legit torny, instead of spacing the Root members out for the first few rounds so they didn't play each other.

Wow I already said this before... they spaced out ALL of the teams. They just avoided team kills which is GOOD. I think all the teams are happy they don't have to team kill until round of 3, and at the end of the day it comes down to the individual player. The Root players have just been playing solid and deserve to be where they are at. Stop complaining about it.

Whos complaining? Im simply stating a fact, a fact that clearly rubs you the wrong way. As I said, it should have been seeded like a legit torny, avoiding team kills being GOOD is your OPINION and you’re entitled it, just like im entitled to say that the seeding is a JOKE. Understand?

Oh please. They're all fantastic players. It's not a legit tournament because the brackets aren't random? Apparently you've never created brackets before lol. Stop whining and just enjoy the matches.
Smurf: It's a shitty opinion though and no one wants to hear it. It's not like they didn't have to win their games to get there. Really not their fault that Drewbie, CatZ, Kiwi et al are huge ballers.

You have an odd definition of "complaining" if you think "seeding is a JOKE" doesn't count.

Seeding randomly does not imply a legit tourney. Tourneys seed their brackets for different reasons. In this case, I assume, they did it this way to prevent team kills. And besides, if you think not pitting the ROOT members against each other means that they're stacking it in their favor, then doesn't that imply you think ROOT players are the best players in this tourney? I don't know about you, but I would like best players to make it furthest.

Understand?
You have an odd definition of "complaining" if you think "seeding is a JOKE" doesn't count.
If youre going to quote me you can at least quote me correctly chobo, you cant even get that right can you?
Let me enlighten those that don’t agree with my opinion, this is a forum and if you don’t agree with what someone posts then don’t read it, simple, end of story. You can tell me that my opinion is wrong, shitty, blah blah blah, all you want, but the reality is that it still doesn’t phase me nor does it change my opinion.

What a joke.

Yes youre right, I am implying that the Root players are the best in the tourney. Which is a funny thing being that this is an invitational. Which further supports my opinion that this torny is far from legit.

Why are mass mutas not the "common response" to a colossi+void build?
I'm not sure why they said that either. I haven't watched a lot of games with the colossi and void ray build, so I don't know what the normal response is.
I'm assuming you're just quoting me and not necessarily questioning me.

It's an NA tourney only and Root is arguably the best team in NA.
CatZ should have used the banelings to destroy the pylon when Minigun trapped his units in the corner, then he could have done a runby with the speedlings.

What's the real reason you're butthurt?
First, learn to post correctly and not double post your fail attempt. The key word is "arguably" the best team. Judging from the Clan Wars they are far from the best NA team, sure they are a good clan but the clan war results speak for themselves.
Im done with this thread because the lack of wit from some of you posters is rather boring. Ive stated my opinion and defended it, thats all i can do.

Yeah he tried to be too cute with the banelings for too long. ;/
Awww...well-played by Minigun. CatZ just didn't play that correctly. Focused too much on the early attack that Minigun that managed to fend off really well.

I honestly don't know why people fuss so much over trivial things. If a tourney brings in some good games just enjoy watching it =/

Yeah, I'm just confused. Apparently, the casters said corruptors are more normal, but mutas cut through voids pretty well. Catz played that game really well.

In most sports brackets, the best players are seeded in such a way that they won't play against each other until the very end of the tournament (in the semi-finals or finals). Tennis tournaments like Wimbledon are a great example of this. So for you to say that this Root tournament isn't legit because: 1. Root players are all spread out AND 2. Root players are all the best is to directly contradict common bracket preparation for many sports.
However:
1. No one said that the brackets had to be randomized. 2, Team kills were clearly aimed to be prevented for all clans. 3. No one is even claiming that Root is the best, although the entire semi-finals consists of Root gamers.
So yes, you are entitled to your opinion. But we are more than welcome to attempt to explain to you why we don't respect it. And the fact that your tone was a bit harsh didn't help.
As a spectator this has been one of the best organized tournaments I've watched. Casting was really good, and there was very little sitting around between games. Many tournaments I've seen will have the casters sitting around and chatting for 15-30 minutes between games. The fact that this tournament kept moving fast made it much more enjoyable to watch. Very nice job!
And I think the sponsors will be happy, as you've got more viewers than day9 at the moment. Please do another one soon!

I agree. Very well organized and I'm definitely gonna keep watching Root-run tournaments! The casters are good too

Yeah, I agree. Raelcun is great and IceD got much better as soon as he stopped using "metagame" as a verb.
If I had to say one thing, I think their tendency to talk for long periods of time without input from the other caster is a stylistic choice I disagree with. I think it'd be nice if they could recognize that the other person might want to comment on something. Or has something that they felt was worth interrupting the person talking.

Just give up. Clearly they still need to.. I don't know.. BEAT GOOD PLAYERS TO GET FAR?! People will complain no matter what, especially if they aren't fans of root.

Really great tournament. Both these casters are great and under-rated. Iced is really great and hes not in any super big events. Glad to see him in this.

PvP final!
It's doing much better after I refreshed the stream.

I'm sorry you feel this way, maybe because I was a part of helping plan, but I really felt that we did a good job from this tournament, and are constantly improving event after event.
As for the seeding issue, we tried to avoid team kills until at least the 2nd around - maybe we didn't statistically include the top players in NA, but come on, it's a tournament put on by our staff and with our name, what are we gonna do, stack it with players other than the ones I know and love? We did also have issues with people who were invited and accepted (not on ROOT) not show up. I'll be sure to refund your admission fee to watch. Next time I'll definitely PM you before our next tourney, and you can seed all the players in the ROOT/smurf_nyc invitational
Either way, if you did or didn't like the tournament, we really appreciate all of you for tuning in, providing your input and cheering for your favorite players. We'll be looking to do more big events with more companies in the future. Now let's enjoy these finals!
As a side note I do feel like I invited a large part of the highest skill NA players. I'm sorry if you have a differing opinion. I looked at things like MLG performance, ladder ranking, TL Open performance, and just general tournament performance.
Thanks everyone for watching, this has been a great success because of you all!
This was a fantastic tourny root you should be commended for putting on another exceptional event. I cannot say I loved the casters but I did throughly enjoy the play of the players.
Jesus... where were all the Kiwi fans in chat? I felt like the only one. Either way GG to Minigun. I am still a fan of his and he is a great player who deserves to win so I'm not upset at all... just a bit surprised by the overwhelming Mini support.
Thanks for hosting the tournament, it was awesome. It sucks that some people like Select, Machine, TT1 and InControL couldn't make it, but it was amazing none the less. GJ to Root for dominating and thanks to the sponsors!
Fantastic tourney ROOT, and big congrats to Minigun! If I'm not mistaken, I believe this is his first tourney win? Great to see him break out, been watching his stream for a while.
hey lalush, i guess everyone else in that draw is a noob too, eh?
grats mini, very well played
hahaha I almost made a Lalush joke as well, but decided against it because I couldnt find a good way to put it. Glad to see it didn't go without mention at least!
Big grats to Minigun, and ROOT in general. Amazing run, such a nice teameffort!
Once again thanks to everyone involved. Players, casters, assassins , Sundevil and Edward. You all did such an awesome job making us all able to enjoy 2 nights of epic entertainment. And ofcourse thanks to all the great sponsors

Congrats to root gaming for an awesome tournament and some great performance by their players! My favourite series was definately catz vs. minigun, I enjoyed the casting too!
Sorry for the VOD delay on my end. Got a few up on YouTube but some things got in my way yesterday to get more up. Should have another batch tonight and tomorrow to finish it off.
Thanks everyone for the kind words, I know I will personally try to improve my casting as much as I can for everyone. I had tonns of fun and REALLY look forward to the next event.
I am still trying to track down the following people for paypal info, look out for messages tomorrow, or email me your paypal address at walamor@gmail.com
As an update, I have 7 replays I am waiting on before I release the replay pack, just to make sure that we release a complete pack! I hope to get them in by tomorrow.
