(despite the fact that not all of Nestea's bases were fully saturated, MVP had 2/2 upgrades on his marines, and Nestea made some crucial mistakes).

I'm still rooting for Nestea though.

only reason why i saw nestea losing to mvp was that he over extended when he held out the first group and rushed towards a turret and 2-2 marines...

I think that NesTea gave away WAY too many mutas for no reason really. If he kept them and had more, he would have easily won.

He also had like 50 of his zerglings get caught on the ramp, which the siege tanks liked...

I assumed Nestea was planning on losing his main when he took that fast 3rd... could have held on if his lair / tech had been up top. Seemed like a brilliant game plan actually. Losing your main there is probably going to happen in ZvT so why not just plan ahead.

I'm pretty surprised that MVP managed to pull back from that. I think what really made it was that he didn't try to keep sending reinforcements, he knew the push wasn't going to end the game so he held back a secondary force in his base.

I'm pretty sure MVP was a lot more cost effective in that first huge battle. The lings and banelings clumped up way too much on the ramp, and a few tank shots killed all of them. So even though MVP lost that actual battle, I think MVP still came out ahead in terms of cost effectiveness, since more than 90% of Nestea's lings/banelings did nothing. Once the speedlings/blings died, all Nestea really had was mutas, which were cleaned up by better upgraded marines.

Couldn't agree more. Killing off most of MVP's army was not worth sacrificing his drone line which included his Spire. If he could have saved that and still killed off MVP's army he would have been in the incredible shape that Tastosis thought he was in anyway.

That position is really tough since it aids terran in what they like to do best, which is spearhead an attack in one direction. Both players played well i thought, but like someone mentioned earlier nestea's first bust through wasn't as great as it needed to be.

Why is the GSL starting earlier and earlier ?!
At first, it was 1 PM my time - perfect time for watching StarCraft 2. Then it moved to 11 AM my time and today, I gotta fucking wake up at 7 AM to watch one of the most important games in StarCraft 2 history ?! I mean, WTF ?! Are you serious ?

Winnable game from NesTea, though when you consider the risks he took early with the ultra-quick 3rd and heavy droning, it's telling (IMO) that he couldn't just out-macro the T. Personally, I think more mutas/lings and fewer banes would've made for a better unit composition. But MVP played it very well, and once those marines hit 2/2, it's very hard to take them down.
