No balance whining. 2-day temp bans will be handed out like candy. |

No.. this gsl only pays half of what the last 3 did so he will not have made more then the last 3 winners.

God I see so many people complaining about gimmicky strategies from MKP... I am not even a big fan of his and I am disappointed that Jinro didn't win, but give the guy some credit. He is a very aggressive player who knows how to use units and positioning strategically... that doesn't mean it is gimmicky. He isn't a player who just throws together some cheese and hope it wins, he is a very consistent player... one of the most consistent in fact. I thought the last match was great and that both players deserve to go to the finals.

MKP just played brilliantly, he deserved to win. Jinro should have perhaps scouted some more, other then that, good games by him too.

It seems to me that if you were able to somehow limit MK's medivacs, his pushes might not be as strong. Every match I seem to watch of his, he always wins matchups when his army is the same size, even slightly smaller because he has 10-15 medivacs pumping out heals the whole time. I realize you would have to sacrifice somewhere else to build thors, or vikings. Or maybe just target fire the medivacs and let the sieged tanks clean up the marines? I don't know lol. It just seems like they are a pivotal part of his build.
With that being said, it was a phenomenal job by MK. I'll admit I wanted Jinro to win, but you can't deny how well MK played. And no, it wasn't cheese.

I'm kind of amazed how easily tanks get overrun by those bioballs. It's over in like 5 seconds

Someone kick MKP out of this tournament and get Jinro or Nada for the final so we can have a real TvT. so can you do it? If it's so easy, why doesn't jinro and nada do it, since they're obviously the better player here according to you. If they use this super fool proof strategy they'll win gsl every time! /end sarcasm

I love MKP's style. He makes map control look easy.

ROFLMAO @Tastosis!!! I love these guys....

Jinro's a great player, but he's a great conventional player. MKP is revolutionary, not cheesy. He's playing it perfectly and knows exactly what he can get away with. People need to start recognizing his brilliance and realize that his decision making, timing, and breathtaking risks are AMAZING play, not cheese.
This is like a Terran version of Savior in his bonjwa days. Executing builds with razor's edge timing and having JUST enough units to get away with it every single time. His earlier strength by going bio also allows him to dominate the map and deny scouting, which allows him to get away with his insane double expoing strategy. He does the unconventional moves because he KNOWS his opponent will never see it coming nor know how to deal with it.
In essence, MKP is everything you wish to see in a great RTS player. Nothing but props to him.
Couldn't have put it better myself. Everything he does, there's a method behind his madness. Double expo? Calculated maneuver, since it's unlikely to be scouted. Proxy banshee? Again, very hard to scout and prepare for. This guy knows what he's doing. It's high time he gets credit for his play.

ZvZ is 20 minutes of visual anesthetic and PvP often (but not always) degrades itself into who can 4 gate better. Actually anything with T in it can be fairly decent, forgot to address other matchups. That said I may not watch cos Jinro wont be in it and that makes me sad... I'll be watching the finals because MKP isn't a real terran. He basically plays a different race. TvMKP is an ok matchup imo.
Ok I'm sad as fuck Jinro wont be in it but saying I may not watch was stupid, it's SC2 of course I'll be watching. That said I don't care who wins one bit, it'll probably be MVP he's just too gosu.

nice to see you guys fair gg to jinro. someday he will makes the final!

Anyone else miss TLO right now for some reason...

anyone else feel like MKP is playing BW style of sc2?? brilliant plays

you really can't blame jinro for not scouting the other two bases in the last game, it's not that he didn't want to as much as he couldn't, which so much pressure MKP kept on him with the mobile army

This is Really the key. Who cares what build he does. You can Always learn New builds. You can always work on your macro-mechanics. But MKP is great because of his gamesense. He'll continue to be great because of his gamesense. I'm excited to see his playstyle evolve, I'm sure he'll continue to place high in GSL as long as he wants to play.
MKP just earned himself a New Fan tonight, even though it was sad to see Jinro eliminated.
