As before, the tournament is a 96 player tournament.
From the signups, tournament organizers will select the best 32 for guaranteed entry into the tournament, the remaining 64 will be on a first come, first serve basis. The 32 selected players will have first round byes.
The top 8 from the previous tournament will be seeded in order of their finish.

When the best of three matches in the round of 16 start, each player will have one map veto that they must announce before the match starts.
Both before and after each semifinal, and after the third place and championship matches, players may be interviewed by VT Gaming's casting crew during the live broadcast.
The top 8 players from this tournament will automatically receive the top 8 seeds in the next tournament.

There is NO check in for this event. In the case of no-shows, replacements will be chosen in the order that they respond.

In order to be on reserve in the case of no-shows, you must be in the IRC channel with your name set to your Battle.net ID.

I recommend switching out Iccup fighting spirit for either iccup sungsu crossing or iccup neo enigma for future opens. Both of those maps are very polish and well desgined. They aren't overly huge or too small either.

Hey i really think that you shouldn't make accusations like this. Optik is definitely a top player on a sponsored team. It would be very foolish to risk his career in pro gaming like that. Perhaps his decisions were based on the current metagame. Perhaps he was playing the player's style so he knew what he could get away with. Perhaps he was just taking a risk. There is alot more to sc2 than standard/safe play.

Watched the replay and all it really did was make you look like a complete asshole. He explained why he did what he did and you didn't believe him and kept going on and on about how he was retarded or stupid or some other names you wanted to say.

Theres a fine line between Risky and stupid and i promise you he crossed it if he indeed was playing blind.
The very fact that his opp opened up with fast marauder close spawn gives the terran the ability to produce insurmountable pressure until the protoss gets sentries. We saw him hold it off. Great but its not like lost more then 1 marauder? i think. and then he proceeds to expand and tech at the same time.. The thing is with the opener fenix used is that its accompanied nearly all the time by a 2nd barracks.. and even if he had chosen an expansion after the barracks.. the following barracks would certainly have followed and allowed him to win the game with a simple A move. I just cant see someone at optikzeros level making this kind of mistake. i rly cant

I had a discussion with him, I looked closely for a scout but i must have missed it. He tells me he did infact see 2 gas and no 2nd rax at the 4 minute mark. So i humbly apologize to optikzero

Optikzero is just a good player who plays a lot of games. If he was cheating he wouldn't lose, additionally cheating is a slippery slope as Own3d does have a delay feature on some streams; I believe 2 minutes is the max. So if they consistently play differently on different services than it may be ok to discuss this. But just after a few games of good guessing this is just slander; if it was MC or Huk you probably wouldn't suspect a thing.
Some semi-pro's have messaged me before games predicting what their opponent will do and are correct majority of the time. Some players will do multiple builds but it will be the same builds on map/position. Playing blind is very risky but if you play enough games, you can guess what the opponent has based upon what he pokes you with.
