high templar vs mech? Lol, Storm isn't the same as Sc1 storm...
Carriers are so awful against Viking, the battle WASN'T even close, not even the tiniest bit close...Don't even think a viking died
Clearly you didn't see how the battle went. High templar kill marines and vikings, which are what mess up carriers. Meanwhile the carriers kill everything else.
Also, he had a lot of vikings and engaged them when interceptors weren't out attacking to make the frontload damage all in favor of jinro.
did he just say high templars killing vikings?? you are forgetting that he has a shit ton of marines and seige tank and thors right?? have fun storming vikings before dying.... high templar is NOT a factor...

Pretty sure they live in the same house, and probably practice with each other when they don't have matches against each other coming up
Not to mention he knew that his opponent was upset and wasn't even smiling or anything, just offering his condolences. I don't think it's very smart that he does it, but I admire his attempts at ggs

DID YOU SEE THE LOOK ON HIS FACE WHEN HE LOST?
He did NOT throw the games, no way at all. Sure he might have made a bad choice vs. what Jinro did, but there's no way he threw the games.
WOAH WOAH WOAH
I am pretty sure my post did not imply AT ALL, he did this on perpose... he just got cocky and thought he could get away with these non-standard builds. Please don't assume things :/

The Carriers got blown out of the sky in less than 5seconds, did you even see the fight? There is no way Templar could have changed that fight, especially with Thor/Tank backing that up.
The thors pretty much oneshotted 12 Phoenixes because they clumped up, that was the main problem of MC I guess. Else they would have absorbed a lot of Viking and marine hits and the carriers could have shined and everyone would have said how smart MC is to go carriers.
edit: also, of course, high templars are highly recommended to support carriers

why should that be BM?
BoxeR does it all the time and a lot of the others too. You go and shake your opponents hand regardless if you win or not. I cant believe why more players dont do that.
People shake hands after a game in a looooooooooooot of sports.

There is a situation where Jinro and MC should absolutely both be able to advance. Jinro or MC could get screwed because they played different people in the wrong order, I hope artosis is wrong about the rematch.
If what you suggest happened, we would have, as a best case for MC and Jinro, MC beating MKP and Jinro beating Rainbow. This would leave a three way tie for first, with no way to use head to head as a tie breaker, as MKP > Jinro > MC > MKP, requiring at least three more matches to determine the top two.
After what all of you have been saying I see why they do it, but I mean if this situation where they are all 2-1 occurs, and is frankly something that is a likely situation if MC vs. MKP and Jinro vs. Rainbow happened, then the first 6 matches is not enough to determine the top two players in the group and the three matches are needed. I do understand though that Jinro would get a possible advantage vs. Rainbow since Rainbow has nothing to play for. I guess I am just wishing Jinro and MC could both make it through. They are so good =/
I agree with the sentiment about wanting both of them to make it out of the group, but I also like MKP, so I can't feel too bad. I am mostly sad that Jinro has to face Idra now.
Lol i think some people got overly sensitive here.
The guy who said that MC threw the game by making phoenix and carriers probably meant that he made mistakes that led him to lose the game and not literally threwing the game intentionally. That is also throwing away the game.
And to be fair to MC, in the last GSL , Jinro expected to lose fully and thus he was more prepared for when MC came into his booth and hugged him. This time it is truly an upset so don't blame MC too much. I'm sure they will hug back in the house.
That said, WOOO JINRO. I know IdrA hoped for this match instead of MC and this will be an interesting foreigner vs foreigner RO8.
