He teched a little too hard and too fast and didn't have enough of an actual army, so he got gutted before his tech investment actually came into play. MC went for 8gates after taking his third and got blink/charge before storm and simply rolled over a similar timing. Also think that's the case. His army with 3 Gateways was way too small. He can't afford Colossi + Templar + Tech from 2, barely 3 bases (when 3rd is saturated okay!) without cutting back on the main army.
Ya he had a third base running but insufficient gates and his money went into storm + hts that weren't operational for most of that fight.

Nada just outplaying him, even if Genius is playing really well. So you are saying there's nothing Protoss can do?
One thing he could've done for certain was to back off while his Storm wasnt finnished instead of engaging the terran army.
Had he just backed off to his third, by the time NaDa reached forth the stormed would've been finnished before the battle begun, and he might've been fine.
