With all due respect, I would not call that great micro, he a-moved from a flank while warping in some distraction maneuvers. I was really dissapointed by the finals from a spectator point of view, the Imortal really is a let down spectator wise. I wish they remove it anytime soon from the game, since all that is somewhat interesting to watch is tanks PvT, and the I nullify tanks, as any spectator creed. Sir, let me show you what "micro" in the SC world means, in relation to PvT, micro for me is not "great forcefields": Micro Overall, the entertainment keeps going down every GSL final, and mostly it is due to the broken (spectator wise) PvT MU. If you guys are thrilled by this final, I believe you haven´t started your life as an esport spectator with BW, but came here later. Luckily, I doubt it will be any more PvT final in the GSL for a long time. User was warned for this post

That's a massive statement.. With little evidence to back it up besides that it makes things less entertaining for u..

SO LOOK OUT guys for gsl4 .. because this guy will GLAD LEE KNOCK YOU DOWN>>>>>>> you clearly contradict yourself. potential in the future due to his young age does not equal being the best right now. he is good and played well this gsl apart from a couple decision making mistakes against marineking but i don't think he's even the best zerg atm let alone the best player in gsl4. also lol glad lee?

Keep your opinions to yourself and stop stating them as facts.

Mc's aggressive play will be figured out too by terrans so he won't be as dominating in the future imo. Basically meta games go tester/genius style < terran current style < mc current style < future T style I don't agree with your analysis of Tester, the problem is he doesn't play solid enough. He does strange things at times rather than sticking to a more fundamental style of play, this allows him to lose to players who have lesser mechanics on a frequent basis. His micro is as good as anyone yet his style of play doesn't really maximise it, the best way i could describe Tester is he plays like someone who is playing against a fundamentally better player at times, except they aren't.

I still don't know if his invincible PvT is enough to crown him as the best Protoss in the world. As to PvP, MC had a dominating performance whenever playing against Genius in Team League.

On December 19 2010 05:43 headies wrote: Brilliant = winning on a gimmick like a scouted, canceled rax into banshee play? And still almost losing? Really, MC lost that game because he got overeager with his colossus push. Definitely should have waited. MC is just miles ahead of Rain, that series was very lopsided. Game 2 was extremely entertaining, still. SIGH. I swear, some people must watch these tournaments just to have something to hate on. I wonder why this overly negative attitude is so prevalent for SC2 tournaments and not for most sports and competitions in general. After a competitive Super Bowl game, most people tend to be pretty happy, they saw some good action and a few exciting plays, and even if the scores weren't close later in the game, they appreciated the competition. I think of some SC2 fans watched it, all they would talk about it how much it sucked, how Team 2 never should have gotten so far, how calling Random Defensive Play cost them the game, and just harp on everything negative they can think of. To everyone hating on Rain... I'll consider your opinion valid when you reach the GSL finals. In games 1 and 2, Rain brought some extremely strong offense that would have crushed every single Protoss player on these forums. MC's exceptional skill was able to show, as he managed to survive it. In game 3 Rain thoroughly outplayed MC and defeated him with mindgames. MC is so damn good he almost stopped it, which made it more exciting than it could have been. It fell apart for Rain after that, but you can't deny that he had three very strong games and brought a serious challenge to the heavily favored best protoss player in the world. I just wish that fewer people would find that "being a hater" is fun for them, and instead would try out "being a Starcraft fan".
