Goddamn, just watched the VODs on GOM now. Gotta say
JIIINNROOOOOOOOOOO
Awesome stuff. I'm extremely happy that oGsMC made it to the semis too, his game v. Jinro is going to be incredible.
oGsMC has some amazing PvT, I think Jinro should be practising hard! Colossus/stalker is a very old build that terran has a lot of experience battling, but oGsMC and HongunPrime have been using a lot of stargate builds that Choya never used.... should make for quite a different series.

Fadoodle yeah Jinro. I knew you could do it, though you scared the shizzles out of me when you let it get to 2-2, and then that final tense, epic, game.
I was literally cheering when he beat that stalker-colluses force in the final game.

I had seen a few replays before MLG of jinro and he was good but i wasnt like omg this guy is fucking amazing -- and then like a few months later he is fucking owning people all over the place!!
i am so impressed - i am like wow..
How are you deeming successful? In terms of money or in terms of how far they have gotten in the GSL? Jinro's the farthest any foreigner has gotten in GSL, so far. As far as money goes, I don't know. He won Dallas, Idra won DC and I'm pretty sure Idra has won other tournaments that add to the money he's made off of Starcraft. Jinro's already up 15k usd from MLG and GSL. If he makes the final that will sky rocket \
Eh... You're right. I just reread what the other person asked and he said SC2. I was counting SC: BW as well . Jinro is the most successful so far.

Drink every time Artosis says Thermal Lance.
Yeah.

I am sad that Jinro has to play MC for his semi, they were the two I had been rooting for the whole tournament! Obviously i want Jinro to win, but when MC wore HuK's hoodie for him in the Ro64 that immediately set him as one of my favorites. Such a baller thing to do for a teammate. Very stoked for that game.
May the better player meet HongUn in the finals.

Using this as my facebook pic until Jinro wins. ![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/yyHWp.jpg) Although I understand your intentions, if you were being considerate, as a suggestion you could have placed choya's face or the faces of the korean progamers jinro beat during his climb to RO4 instead of the national flag of korea. no matter what the intentions of the creator was,an image of rolling over a nation's national flag has many, many innuendos and (mis)representations, much of which is hostile, despite the comical value which i can obviously see so don't flame me for being some zomg uber-serious can't-take-a-joke loser. but off topic, i hope jinro will win the whole tournament now. not simply because i like jinro, but it will instill belief that foreigners have the capability to perform just as well as koreans given the same training environment (of course this has always been true but it hasn't been really tested until now; even though every foreigner outwardly believes this, when you see flash and jaedong roflstomp foreigners at the wcg as if they were playing against easy computers, it's hard to muster up the belief and determination...) . not only will this encourage more foreign participation in esports, but it will also make esports in korea more popular since having players of different nationalities and esp. personalities makes the scene much more interesting to watch. I'd have to agree. Though I definitely understand your intentions, burning the American flag is illegal for multiple reasons; similarly, it is offensive to treat the Korean flag as such. Are you trying to say that Korea's flag isn't as important as the US's, or even your own? Probably not, but it does come across as somewhat racist, especially since you emphasized that you're Swedish.

Yay Jinro! What a way to end the year. Can't wait for the next matches!

I agree it's in poor taste. - Re the American flag, is that true? I thought the Supreme Court protected flag burning under the free speech provisions? Can any legally-minded Americans enlighten me?

I'm not an American but I can confirm that the Supreme Court indeed protected flag burning. (Or rather struck down laws prohibiting it due to their non-compliance with the right to free speech.)

Sorry, don't want to contribute to off-topic noise.

Anyone else think jinro is going to get rolled vs MC? Im so scared
|

Jinro should be disqualified for swearing in the interviews... Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad role model
|
any one know what the general korean reaction is to a foreigner making r04?
I'd be interested in knowing this as well.
Also, holy crap! That was probably the best GSL series I've ever seen! Such awesome games. So happy to see Jinro win!

Nope. I cannot bet against our horse, even if we know he is going to lose, which I do not think he is. Always root for the home team.
|
I'm going to be rooting for MC. Nothing against Jinro but I want a protoss to win this GSL.It was so awesome seeing Marinecheeseking lose as well especially the last game. PvT is a lot more fun to watch when storming is involved.

Can't help myself but i seriously don't like MCs play. It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO gimmicky -____________-

Jinro would liquibet on MC I think, based on his interview. And he would know because they practice together. Over a seven game series, it would be hard... But I am torn!
It's like the round of four is oGsCinderella vs. Liquid`Cinderella and CinderellaPrime vs. TSL_Pariah. Poor Rain, he had personal issues crap up his practice time, and now everybody's rooting against him.

just watched jinro game 1, does a all-in. seriously what terran doesn't all-in nowadays?
