True, taking 3rd and 4ths on opposite sides of the map makes it much easier to hold against mech compositions as the army can only concentrate fire on one area for full potential. The narrow corridors in the middle makes it difficult to attack a PF+defenders 3rd in the middle expo.

I don't think Jinro ever scouted the hidden Z expo in the 1st game either, even though the game was pretty much over. Now that you mention it I don't think he saw that hidden expo either. Hole in his play maybe.

If you're going to be passive you need to know what your opponent is doing. right the solid zerg macro and ballsy move to take the gold didnt win him the game. jinro lost it.

Sure when they each had 5 bases and maxed out armies, there were some judgement errors, but playing flawless endgame like that is impossible. At 13mins in game, when jinro just got raped by nothing but roaches, Leenock had 3 bases and 12 broodlords morphing in after stalling out strong harassment.

I wonder if any koreans root for Grack or TLO or the likes of those. I'll bet Ret got a few fans after stylin all over that zerg

There's a Tastosis "feedback" thread floating around somewhere, and the point was made that the korean commentators have to be interrupted during their screaming and such to say "GG!!!!" -- they keep talking as if the game is close no matter what the scenario. I'm not exactly the kinda guy that would like that necessarily, either, but some middle ground is probably best. Not too much excitement for an obviously won game, not too much criticism/apathy towards the current game, either.
