loooool, c'mon. Qualifying has a lot to do with luck. NaDa didn't qualify this season but made it to ro4 last time. And seriously, that P was HORRENDOUS.

obviously with how late they went yesterday, they trying to save on bandwith
They games didn't go for that long last night, 4 hours last night and 4 hours today. The epic Clide v Leenock series was cancelled out by that awful TvP where the T won with a marine and a 2 marauders.

All i am really saying. E: kk
I posted the video of the match on the previous page. It was Huk vs Idra in some MLG event and it was a complete roflstomp

Here's the problem. Even if they hate it and want to fire them, find 2 other casters that know the Korean scene as well as Tastosis and can come to Korea for every GSL. There aren't very many. I'm sure InControl might be a candidate but he'd rather be playing in it. Remember how bad some of the commentary was when Tastosis left for Blizzcon?

IdrA used the exact same hydra+crawler push on steppes against HuK in MLG DC and roflstoped him just as badly as against NEXChoa.
I think you all need to get off his ass. Sure he made plenty of mistakes. But so did Foxer in his RO64 match and look what he did after. Nerves often get to people
EDIT: I see someone beat me to it. Coincidentally used the same word (roflstomp) too.

Code-S.
Pay Attention.
TOP 32 PLAYERS GET CODE-S.
24 spots are reserved for the top 8 of each GSL. The last 8 spots are determined by the best performance overall from all 3 tournaments. (If someone gets Top 8 in more than one tournament than there will be an additional spot for however many times this occurs).
Idra was already in based on GSL 1 and GSL 2 performances if he qualified for GSL 3. The worst he could have gotten was the last wildcard spot.
However, since people who could have passed him have already lost (Clide is an example) and since Idra has won his Ro64... Idra will be one of if not the TOP wildcard Code-S player (unless he auto-qualifies by finishing Top 8 this season).

Is it even possible for Gom to do this? After the broadcast stopped I got a 30 second warning from GomPlayer (I believe) and then it shut me down.
Same thing happened to me.

No. They probably agree with them. Its not that big of a deal, jesus.
I think the Koreans don't care what americans think or say anyways. They probably don't ever know what Tastosis is spewing.
For all we know the Korean commentators could be talking about how much they hate foreigners, and we would never know.....

They shouldn`t have a problem because a player of that level getting into GSL is actually embarrassing. Like if you showed me a replay of his 2nd game I would have easily believed he was platinum level. He MUST have been so nervous because I refuse to believe someone that bad can qualify...

Someone summarize the P v Idra games for me please?
I'm gathering that he tried some 6-gate push, missed his timing badly, and ran into the maw of hydras?

I don't think they can call them out for anything... I am surprised Choa even made it to the tournament (travel wise) cause he was clearly not much for using a brain.

Wasn't this Choa person a total lucker who is like rank 2000 on the Korean ladder? Or am I thinking of someone else?

I for one, was entertained by Jason Lee and wish to collect more of his quotes. Only person who I didn't enjoy with Jason was that last guy he had. The Korean guy and Idra were fine, Idra being the best commentator.

The fact that they said it leads me to believe they have little to no restrictions. So no, I don't think Gom cares.

A lot of the top 8's are going to overlap too, so the chance of Idra getting in are pretty high

That was Cyrano, another bad protoss player who lucked his way into the GSL and also got owned by a foreign zerg.

Roughly this. He massed gateway units without tech and got stomped by Idra's trademark Hydra/spine push.

People already hate idra over there for being quiet and a bit BM, even if he already tries to shape up a bit.
Artosis is a professional caster who calls a guy brainless three times on live TV, that's far worse.
