Have you watched the games? Tastosis called him a 'solid Protoss'. Which means that he's a lot better than the 'brainless' protoss.

Artosis is a professional caster who calls a guy brainless three times on live TV, that's far worse.
Whatever a player does, he plays bad, noobish, or does anything, it NEVER gives a commentator the right to call him "Brainless"..
I liked Artosis and Tasteless until this very moment.. But i wish GOMTV at least gives a warning/punishment to them..

Cyrano played decently and at the time Tasteless and Artosis recognized it. Now today they're basically calling him a bad player and everyone on the forum is talking about how badly he was crushed. Yeah, he lost. Leave it at that. Ret was close to losing the set on Metal as well, that deathball protoss had broke his army and pushed into natural.

He is doing his military service. Although there is a thread recently saying he only has 6 more months until the end of his military service. Hurray as he is a sick player on Gisado's KotH. It is in this thread I believe

Pay Attention.
TOP 32 PLAYERS GET CODE-S.
24 spots are reserved for the top 8 of each GSL. The last 8 spots are determined by the best performance overall from all 3 tournaments. (If someone gets Top 8 in more than one tournament than there will be an additional spot for however many times this occurs).
Idra was already in based on GSL 1 and GSL 2 performances if he qualified for GSL 3. The worst he could have gotten was the last wildcard spot.
However, since people who could have passed him have already lost (Clide is an example) and since Idra has won his Ro64... Idra will be one of if not the TOP wildcard Code-S player (unless he auto-qualifies by finishing Top 8 this season).
Thanks for the summary.

i think theres something you are not realizing here...we are the only ones who see tastosis ...people over there and especially korea arent watching tasteless and artosis commentate they are watching the korean commentators...so there's like a 99% chance they will never even know it went down.

I agree. Bad decision making happens in sports, be it due to pressure or inexperience. Don't need to call a person brainless for it.
The thing is Koreans will probably never know, and probably don't give a shit what the americans say anyway. I think(or hope) Artosis realizes this and would never say such a thing at BlizzCon or any other western tourny

Now Choa is trash? One series does not determine how good a player is. Choa could be trash, but we don't know. Since hes a decently ranked player on the Korean ladder, it is likely that he is actually a good player but played terribly 2 games in a row. If a random person would watch sanzenith vs CheckPrime in S2, they would think San is an even bigger scrub than Choa.

Honestly, I don't think teh brainless comment is that big of a deal. It would be if this were American sports but trash talk is such a part of video games, I'm not sure anyone cares,

Management called them out for saying tester instead of SSKS in just one series.
You think they don't know that they are calling a guy brainless three times over?

Artosis is a professional caster who calls a guy brainless three times on live TV, that's far worse. It's also fucking hilarious. And pretty true. The double stalker after scouting gas/pool and with drone in sight? Ignoring/missing the hydra den? And the 6-gate response to a hydra/spine push and refusal to transition? I mean, he'd rock me, but he's still terrible in comparison. No, it's not hilarious. Call it a bad play, or say that he made an awful mistake. That's fine. But as a supposedly professional anchor you simply do not outright insult competitors for performing poorly, especially when you want so desperately to legitimize the thing you're commentating. The only reason they're getting away with this stuff is because most people around them have no idea what they're saying and they're friends with anyone who does understand.

What else would you call him Besides they prolly called his strats brainless, not him. I'm pretty sure he's talking about how as a caster in the most significant/dominant tournament in the sc2 scene right now, it's his duty to stay professional and try to be least biased as possible. Something both the casters are terrible at.

While this is extremely true, it is more of the principal and being professional while on air that matters in the long run.
Luckily Nick was able to kind of cover for him, You see them also show bias toward players as well.. and as its hard not to do, I am glad they are making such an effort to hold back cheering for foreigners and friends.
Also, anyone have any info on the translator? He seems to do a pretty okay job, I was surprised because in other tournaments/games they are really slow and do not speak english as well as the one who translated tonight did.

Hilarious! Slows down my comp when loading that huge pic though so you might want to spoiler your awesomeness.

Both Artosis and Tasteless are a little bit sloppy today with the comments. I guess it's just a bad day for them to cast.

I suck at this game but you know how fucking much I rage when I see people throwing games away by really bad decisions ? No wonder "brainless" slipped Artosis I doubt he will say it again in the future since its somewhat unprofessional but it is really not that big of a deal.
