You guys have no idea what you're talking about, the casting has no excitement, it's just a chore to watch. I really don't understand why you would want to try to become a commentator when you don't even know the basic strategy and "metagame" of any of the races.

You guys don't give any insight, don't properly discuss the builds, and it's just "commentating on the things you see on the screen" and doesn't go in-depth at all. There's just play-by-play, and even the play-by-play is terrible. But I guess that's one reason for you to host your own tournament, since I'm rather certain no one would let you cast their tournaments. I really would suggest playing some more before starting to commentate.

In addition to that, you're making the players wait around extended periods of time. Most seem really confused and you ignore people who message you. You want to cast every single game live and everyone has to wait without knowing what's going on while you cast? You really need some more co-hosts and so on... I guess that's just a couple of the problems I see with this tournament. The biggest one is casting though, by far. Some things to think about...

Already posted in the other thread it was all a misunderstanding and I close out a ton of chats. I am getting messages from 64 people at one time and trying to stream and keep the broadcast running. I am readding TQSKullz back into the Tournament. As I made a mental mistake. I myself am apart of TQ and have been creating a website for them and everything as well as helping Zander with tournaments when I can. In no means did I mean to screw TQSkullz.

Bracket has been corrected.

let me get this straight; not only did you close a ton of chats without replying to let the people know whats going on, your fucking up the brackets even more to bring him back, and then your following it up with BS to salvage your rep

I would appreciate if the debate from the incident didn't spill over into this thread. The staff are discussing where we go from here and there's no need to bring that mess into this thread at this point.

Seems that the answer is "Brandon can't properly handle the tourney".
There got to be somebody helping him actively!

As a general feedback for the tournament, I think you were casting with Response (?). You two were sort of out-of-sync...constantly interrupting each other and not even finishing each others' thought.

For example, you would start talking about the importance of securing a specific location, then he would start on "oh he's now starting this upgrade" rather than continue and elaborate on your statement.

In short, the two of you lack chemistry and made observing a bit frustrating because you were pulling each other in different directions. I think both of you are capable of casting on your own, but together doesn't seem to be a good combination at the moment. Just something to work on.

Team LiquidUnderneath it all they were really quite nice. They just got screwed up. Mostly by stuff that wasn't entirely their fault.

Are these the game guys as the ones who plan matches less than a day in advance, and then get angry when players can't make (see Fenix)? And who insult non-pro players live on stream? If they keep this up, they're gonna crash&burn faster than bigt.

I was watching the tournament a couple of weeks back... Was watching the Avilo v. Rei series live. I know it's been said many times, but he was getting pretty ruthless on the players (I'm sure both of them would roll him up, btw). And now I'm reading about this... I haven't watched since the Avilo v. Rei series, and I don't plan on watching going forward (not that this matters). If I do, it will be on mute, that's for sure. Based on the night I did watch, it doesn't sound too far off base for Brandon to drop a lesser known player and add back in a more well known LZ.

I'll continue to watch the streams regardless of all the e-drama going on. As long as the tournament hosters continue to learn from their mistakes and make progress I am all for it. The prize pools are decent, the games are competitive, and these guys are making a genuine effort to contribute and get better.

On a side note, the RO16 is on the upcoming events for tonight but your post says that the RO16 will be on Thursday at 7:00. Please confirm one or the other.

Thanks.

Alright guys, it's obvious with any new tournament there will be teething problems. Cut Brandon some slack, he's a single guy running these things, don't worry thing's will get smoother in future tournaments. He's obviously doing the best he can and I think he's doing a stand up job. There may need to be some stricter and clearer rules on the system of who to disqualify/free pass etc, and I'm sure Brandon is thinking of solutions.

Moving onto my main reason for posting, could you please run these tournaments a couple to a few hours earlier? The current timing is terrible for any Europeans, and i don't believe it's practical for the gamers either running these at "prime" time in the US.

Anyway, great work and keep it up.
Gogo Grubby.
