I don't believe so. TvP is a matchup where scouting is generally denied. Terran either has to scan or Protoss has to commit to fast robo to pump out that Observer. Game 2, I'm pretty sure he had those 3 gates going down before he scouted the Fast Expand, he just then committed all his Chrono to getting the attack out as fast as possible.

The entire synergy between zealots and colossi was this
Zealots are melee - they form a relatively impenetrable wall. Colossi are quite long range with that linear splash (i.e. zealot wall), and don't like to get shot at. Short of forcefields (sentries cost a ton of gas), there is no replacement for what the zealots do for the colossi.
Re: Protoss death ball - it makes your life easier to EMP us.

Rain is pulling scvs and rallying marines, throwing down bunkers near the expo hatch. Drones are pulled, a marine goes down , Zerg pushes the marines and scvs out, a spinecrawler finishes, the aggression is shut down.
