Agree. Although I don't mind many Z advancing it's too bad ZvZ is by far the most lame mu ever.

(I think that is still the case if he doesn't, but still) Because SeleCT is foreigner, right? -_- If he's foreigner, IdrA can be counted as korean. Still we already got a record number of foreigners. I'm pretty sure SeleCT doesn't have a Korean citizenship, or its not a normal one? (he said in his Artosis interview he is only allowed to stay for 6 months), so yes, yes he is.
So if IdrA would get korean citizenship he would be considered as a korean? I kinda considered "korean" tag to apply on those who were borned in korea and live there and is awesome playing sc games. SeleCt kinda fits few of those so I don't really consider him to be foreigner. But I guess we should take everything we get

i think protoss is a strong race late game. very hard to beat as z and t. early game pressure is a pain also from p.

GSL3 is going to be soo much more fun in Ro64. A lot of players to root for, esp. the foreigners.
|
Do I interpret the brackets right so that if Select and Genius win their game, thy have to play each other for the ro64 spot?

Can you imagine a TL member facing SlayerSBoxer in the final?...I think internet would explode!

its a shame huk didn't make it, but he can do it next time hopefully I don't even think there are any more GSL opens..? Seems a little bit like HuK's on a fall from grace. Actually I think the GSLs that will be next year just means he wont be seeded, so hell either have to face seeded players to qualify as well as having to play any new comers who could be ex bw pros etc You are wrong. You should probably not comment if you have no idea what you are talking about. The outline for next years tournaments has been laid out and the GSL will no longer be an open tournament. There wil be an open A tournament and a S-class tournament. So yeah he can still qualify for the A tournament. Then the top A of fight the bottom S for S-class. something like that.
No, it isn't an open A tournament. To qualify for a chance to play in the A tournament you have to be at the top of the ladder (and not in one of the other designations already). So it is clearly very different than the open GSL that was played this year.

Top players really should send replays to Blizz when they think something needs to be fixed. Who else could be better for this than the actual pro players?! Zerg players did it in GSL 1 and Terans did not have the need for it so far. Maybe the pro toss players should really sit together, discuss some things and mail them to Blizz. This would be better than any balance discussion on any forum I guess. ssks mostly practices in private games with players like boxer and fruitdealer, you want him to take those replays and be all "Hey davey nerf this build! It's really strong and this player will probably win the tournament with it unless you patch" I don't think that would be kosher This is actually what Zerg did when everyone agreed thay were UP. Shortly after, Zerg got buffed in 2 patches. Ofc I dont know anyone at Blizz and I dont want to make this a big discussion... It is just that I think it could give Blizz deep insight into pro-level gameplay which would help balancing the game with the upcomming patches
David Kim about balancing
i actually found this one quite helpful to understand the process of balancing !!
just in case someone missed it

He even made it to last month's #3 Power Rank, just take a look at the lower right side of your screen

May i know how does this work? And how often will they do this. I only saw that they will play bot 32 of A class and top 32 of bnet after EACH SEASON. Not sure what each season means but that means the top 32 of bnet can only try to get into A class around March?

Jinro, Haypro, IdrA, Ret, and hopefully Select... I'd love to see multiple foreigners in the Ro8!

Yeah...exactly. If Idra renounced US citizenship and got a Korean one, then yeah...he'd be considered Korean. Seems pretty obvious/logical to me.

Alright, July made it? That's so awesome, I love to watch that guy play. Could someone please tell him to stop changing his name though? It seems like he's planning on using a different one each GSL season
Great to see Check made it again. Always good to be consistent.
Don;t understand how the brackets work, but does this mean SelecT has to go through Genius?

GO SelecT! Go Genius! Please qualify, please please
Post above me, no Genius and SeleCt just need to won their respective match of which they're playing now I guess. Its not against each others

Oh really? So what your telling me is that no new players can ever qualify for any future tournaments??
Of course they can, they just need to win qualifier tournemants to qualify. Mayb I never made that clear in my post but thanks for being a douchebag about it.

+ Show Spoiler +Well, at least SanZenith (despite being Protoss.........) didn't make it through, only to potentially manner cannon himself again...

pretty sure that SeleCT has double citizenship since he has 18 years in Korea, representing (and winning) Korea in 2 WCGs. Moving to another country doesnt make u lost your citizenship, it's not like SeleCT is a national crime lol
