Well actually Terran is the race of men, zerg is the race of bugs and Protoss are the race of...well I don't actually know what Protoss are. Dolphin men. Check out Artanis on the Brood War loading screen.

And why do you think, less "pros" playing with protoss? I don't hear any Pro-toss players actually complaining though. If anyone else has feel free to correct me. I think in the interviews from yesterdays qualifiers, MC stated that Blizz should nerf Marauders and that Roach range 4 should be put back to 3. He didn't say it. He said that he feels "protoss is very hard to play. Zerg became stronger, and PvT became more of a build order risk. Force fields are the core of protoss, but it became harder since gateway units aren’t very effective". No calling for nerf, though. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=169153#1
Ups, I confused him with coreZenith who stated:
Q. Protoss hasn’t been doing well in the last 2 seasons. A. They have to nerf marauders. They should also return the old range of 3 to roaches. I also wish they would bring back the old zealots. Protoss is so hard.
Thought it was MC since I just remembered him talking about PvT issues...

Tester in numerology gives sum of 23 which is very good number regarding luck and many other factors, while sSKS sum is giving number 11, which is very very bad number and ppl should run aways from that.
It sounds stupid but it could be explaination :D
I just looked at your aura and the violet splotches indicate that you will give birth to kittens tomorrow.
Now, I know what you might say. "I'm not a cat, or female!".

Actually Terran is the race of men. Protoss is the race of mysterious and silent aliens. That's why we don't complain.
We're secretive plant people.

No idea why tbh, but I'd definitely say that outside of 5 or 6 really good toss players it's essentially a bunch of randoms and cannon fodder who aren't up to scratch. Idra said something once about it being easy to get good with toss, hard to be great. Could be something in that. I don't hear any Pro-toss players actually complaining though. I'd say Protoss is probably desensitized after seeing years and years of failure in OSL/MSL/No protoss bonjwa and nothing is being done while Terran and Zergs are throwing imbalanced accusations at each other. Kinda a bystander race so to speak.

Actually, Terran is the race of men.
Protoss is the race of high-tech pony-tail wielding aliens

Really sad to see all those great protoss to fail... Don't wanna talk about balance, but GSL will be very boring after Ro64 - almost sure most of protoss qualifiers will be knocked out in the very first round...

Actually, Terran is the race of men.
Protoss is the race of Wuh-men, who's a little less hairy and cries when not recieving latest hand bag.

So, please tell me how MOST of these players that are popular right now got popular? They got popular from their PERFORMANCE in SC2. How can we know who is TRULY a good Toss player, if the RACE is setting them back? This is an infinite loop argument, you can't have top players without balance.
My problem with this is that it implies that players like NexGenius are actually much better than everyone else because they perform well consistently using an underpowered race.
Also, thanks for responding to an innocent enquiry with needless hostility!

@ OP: Playxp says july was the first player to advance from group D, not vealsteak.

Your argument is that ALL THOSE players who were protoss who didnt qualify were just.. bad... ? Well, here's my argument. If they were zerg or terran, do you think they would have made it further?
No, not all, just most. The brackets are pretty random, players like Tester and Nada go out, and guys who don't belong there get through. It's impossible to predict whether if said protoss players were zerg or terran they would have got through, so it's not relevant. By the way, it wasn't an argument. Just an interested question
http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/S-class - Luckily, Tester and Nada are both S class so the 'randomness' is over after GSL 3, and frankly there was no way to pre-seed until these initial GSL tournaments. I personally feel far more sorry for people who have not attained S class and have been knocked out by proven top level players (GSL performances).
The thing is, how do you know they weren't beaten by players of equal or better standard? The fact is, you don't until they compete in the GSL-proper. We do know that SKSS/Nada are class players, but they may have played poorly or been the worse players on the day, rather than been at the bad end of cheese/race balance.

Theres 7 more spots to fill. SeCreT has to be one of them!

That's exactly what people said about Zerg in season one. They saw players like Zenio and NesTea getting crushed and just assumed they weren't as good as the top Terran and Protoss players, which of course isn't the case.
I'm sure there are plenty of very good Protoss users in Korea who will shine once their race allows it.
