I'm 1 lucky bastard ha :D ? Anyway, can we internationals watch prelims from anywhere? There are two problems with these qualifiers: 1) No streams... only live updated brackets and TL twitter 2) Wth scrap station is the deciding map 1) FU GOM WHY NO STREAMS. 2) Scrap station is just another stupid map of blizzard. But it's still better than LT or DQ (which means Disqualify for all Zerg players). Jungle Basin? We would get more P atleast... Yea I kind of agree, it is the lesser evil.

Ey is Sjow going to participate in GSL 3? I mean in a interview he said that if he would be in shape he would go?

Currently the only non-S class player who has better results is Check (with 2 Ro16s).

How can they do this in two days now, when they needed 4 last month?

LiquidPrimeoGsZENEXfOuTSL)Cella.
Ahh, these GSLs just seem too quick to me... but it makes sense if they are trying to create a counter to the SC1 Starleagues. Who knows maybe the GSL will turn into the Courage tourneys... once a team league can be started. Just a random thought lol.

Will Moon (from W3) participate?

Depends how they rate it, which GSL hasn't really specified. Presumptially it's top 8 from GSL1/2/3, then the top placed players afterwards, combination of # of GSLs qualified and ranking. If this is the case, he is not guaranteed S-Class right now, but would be among the prime candidates for the remaining 32-8*3=8 spots, as he made it to ro32, ro16 and not many of the other qualifiers have had repeat success like him. As such, he should be in S-Class, unless suddenly like 8 people who made ro32, also make ro16/ro8.
The "Top 8 from GSL 1/2/3" is pretty much confirmed given the "Achievements" listed for players who made it. They haven't specified the remaining 9-17 spots (given Ro8 repeats - HopeTorture twice, and however many repeats we get in GSL 3) but I would assume it would follow their ranking system. Which is based on wins, and has a slight advantage (1 rank up - 1 win equivalent) for GSL1 qualifiers.
Idra's 3 is pretty good there; out of the non-Ro8 finishers:
CheckPrime 4 wins Idra, ogsTheWind, sanZenith 3 wins (all GSL1 qualifiers so 1 rank up there)
There are 10 with 2 wins (7 GSL1 qualifiers), 23 (13 GSL1 qualifiers) with 1 win.
As long as Idra qualifies and wins his Ro64 match he's pretty much S-Class if they follow rankings as it would take an completely implausible scenario for him to drop out (even if he then lost Ro32, it'd take 8 new Ro8 players; ogsTheWind and SanZenith making Ro32 but not Ro8; and 6 of 7 2-win GSL1 qualifiers making it to Ro16 and then losing to even force a tiebreak which only 1 player of 10 would miss).
There are a lot more scenarios if he doesn't qualify / make it past Ro64 but even then it would take a lot of the 2-win/1-win people qualifying and doing well while the current top 16 (Ro8 people + Check) don't, which isn't terribly likely. Once we're through qualifiers I'll take another look and maybe post everyone's ranks.
What I'm wondering is how they're going to fill A-Class, as it's apparently 32 S-Class, 64 A-Class, and they won't have 96 different people winning a match (currently 53). They might not even have 96 different people winning a map (currently 72). Maybe this is why GSL1 people have a leg up?
Edit: After re-reading the gomtv.net rank post, it seems that S1 qualifiers have a leg up in rankings, so my original thoughts above were slightly off. Edited to update. Also I had an extra 1 win person.

You can see a list of players in the hunt for S Class here. Check and IdrA are in great shape (I suspect Check may actually have clinched but without knowing the exact formula can't say for sure), but there's a lot of high profile players like oGsTOP, oGsMC, Clide, and SangHo who still have work to do.

Thing about Protoss is that no one else is better than NEXGenius (aside from Tester maybe but I don't know why he didn't qualify last time), and he's not at the level of Foxer/NesTea/Fruitdealer/HopeTorture just yet.
However, I think foreigners might have a chance to actually represent Protoss the best of all the races because it's so wide open.
Wish Fnatic would've sent TTOne over there too. Btw, where's Kiwi staying and who's he practicing with?

Is there less people participating in the qualifiers? Because last time it spanned over 4 days.. Now its just 2 days?

Artosis said he would be giving live twitter updates as the day goes on.

Yes It starts at 10:00 am korean time, which is 8:00 pm eastern time.

Thanks. Thought they were this morning but I forgot prelims weren't at night in Korea.

10:00AM is the registration times on Monday, followed by later time for later rounds. I'm not until the 6pm group for registration, which gives me enough time to finish teaching and get up to Seoul.
From what we've heard, there are only ~1500ish players this time, which is fewer than in season 2. That, and S2 had a lot of no-shows, makes me think they can more easily do two-days. Brackets would only have about 24 players in them to win through to the Ro64.

Any player lists for today/tomorrow released yet?

I suppose the qualifiers arent being broadcasted or streamed anywhere? Can someone post a link to Artosis' twitter?
