Surprised by the absence of TLO.

The lineups are crazy..
I'm really curious to see how this plays out though. What if one side just gets lucky and happens to have all of their players play their best MU while the other side has the opposite? Unless i'm reading it wrong, it seems there is nothing to prevent this if it really is just a bunch of seperate 1v1s.
If that is the case something more like a round robin would be so much better imo. Considering how many games would be involved in a Bo5 between all these players, it wouldn't be many more, if any more, games to just have a full round robin system and just add up the wins then. That would also be a MUCH better test of which region is better imo. Also, if there ended up being a tie with a system like this you could have a grand final series between the two top scoring players.
Either way, can't wait.

this is like GSL for non-korean players!!

Crazy good line ups. Although both have loads of great players, I think America has more "Tier 2" players. But things change fast in SC2. You never know. Really intrigued how still will work. I hope as many matches as possible. Not some PL bo1 bs. Or player X plays until he is defeated and the team with someone left wins. Too short . Might be too one sided as well. Probably not all of the winning teams players get to play either.

Lol europe looks so much stronger than US it's just ridiculous, EUROPE HWAITING!

well assuming those in korea plays each other and as toss.ita said there is no mirror.
so it will be
jinro vs idra
while ret/haypro vs select/huk
i predict idra to win in a bo5 while ret/haypro take their games because pvz and tvz are huk and select's worst matchup respectively. Just pure speculation though because i don't know how good huk and select has gotten since.

Is select still in Korea? I thought he went back after not qualifying for GSL.

Yey, four swedes in the europe team! If Morrow had played better at Dreamhack I really think he should've been in the lineup

Well as he said in the interview before! He didnt expect much from DH! he just went there to gain more experience in playing LAN etc. He did well if you ask me actually. He beat SjoW etc at DH and SjoW is one of the best Terrans around atm. And by the way he just switched race "or a while back" so hes not fully prepared yet as he stated before too.

|
if they get to see who their opponents are ahead of time i cant wait to see tyler's matches cuz he always prepares so well for showmatches.
|
MorroW's Zerg isn't that good yet and TLO isn't at the same level as he was back in the beta. Therefore, I'm not surprised about their absences.

Haypro is so overrated. :S That is why het got in the GSL3 right ? Because he's overrated.
People tend to underrate him due to his inconsistent results. He's actually very strong at his best.

For team america I was almost spot on (fuck yeah).
Europe was a totally different story. It was pretty easy guessing each nations representatives except for Sweden. But now I feel kind of stupid, why wouldn't they ask TLs own players? Interesting to see the quality additions of Tarson and BratOK. They must be replacements, for whom I wonder...
Correct teams:
America US: Qxc, Nony, Idra, Select, Machine Canada:Huk, Kiwikaki, Slush, Drewbie, TTOne Peru: Fenix
Europe Germany: Socke Sweden: Naniwa, SjoW, Jinro, Haypro England: DeMuslim Ukraine: Dimaga, White-Ra Netherlands: Ret Poland(!): Tarson Russia: BratOK

Select should take a spot if he's eligible to play.
How did you fare?

It's like they searched for the most unflattering picture of the players just for the lols. I approve.

Europe has a stellar lineup and as a whole they probably have a better team. But I think that America has some serious heavy hitters that alot of the European players wont be able to deal with. So really it depends on the Matchups. For america to win this, they need to put their weekest players against the strongest Europeans, and hope for more wins in the middle of the pack.

Yes!!! Awesome teams on both sides, this is gonna be epic
