Is there at least a way to increase posts per page (like every other forum I've ever used in my life)?

"Retard" isn't a swear word, and if you're going to eliminate anything that might offend anyone, you might as well get used to having a language completely without nuance. Though I couldn't care less what kind of language is used, it is slightly unprofessional. Imagine if he had said 'gay' instead. Seems really childish. Just a slip up, people need to relax.

Have you ever watched a broadcast of an actual sport? NBA, MLB, football, World Cup? This is the way people do things on air when they want to be taken seriously.

New major sponsors or getting more sponsorship from the current sponsors could be scared away from using retarded or other insensitive words. While it really doesn't bother me much, I wonder how I would feel if I had a family member or knew someone who actually was disabled in such a way. It is time to think LARGE scale with MLG and being safe for sponsors/advertisers is the way to go.

I hardly think calling poor play "retarded" is something you can consider "nuanced language", but I guess standards can differ. Anyway, pointless argument. Back to the matches.

I don't see the halo commentators saying that, and some of them are extremely immature outside of the MLG events, I've played with/against them enough to know

I agree that he shouldn't have said it because people get offended but really they shouldn't. I'm not sure why you think JP should be insulting a professional e-sports player in any way whatsoever.

Unlike Day9, he doens't give a shit if its unprofessional or not haha (sanZenith vs Check). I think the only case where using the word "retarded" would be in reference to that match.. probably the most embarassing series of sc2 I have ever witnessed. I definitely agree that artosis will harp on that second game for a very long time. Such a shame that such a great player is ruined by a horrible mistake that happened in a split second

I'm sure you are an expert and know better than MLG about sponsorships and how they should or shouldn't behave. There's plenty of people who can laugh at a joke/ignore it, the people who take most offense is the armchair experts online it seems. Early pressure into expand seems to be working extremely well, I think Machine has got this though. Assuming TT1 let's his macro kick in.
