Idra can't really NOT be a macro player, because that is the only thing that really makes him great. It's really tough to root for a player that you know will never play in interesting games because people always all-in him

It is a good thing for the game. This + Keeping cheese out of the game would make it "20 minute without attack please, this is a game were you have to build a base, etc," game ![]() Love cheesy play from time to time. If every game would be 20 minutes+ macro games, i dont think many people would have fun watching them all day/night :p If you were to play a 25 minute MACRO game, the game would be boring, it would essentially be, make units, make more units then your opponent and you would win. Cheese allows us to have micro from both players, where some of the true skill is shown. indeed not been that excited watching a series as i did with select vs idra

FE every single game, ofc you're gonna get cheesed. He really should scout more, especially since nobody wants to go into a long macro game against him. I've seen him lost 3 match ups in the last couple of days, every time was due to all in attacks or cheeses. Zergs have to FE. 1 base play is basically all-in. But you can pool before hatch and be safer.

But where complaints arise is that every game IdrA plays in a foreigner tournament (hell, arguably GSL to) is him getting cheesed. At a certain point you just want to see a standard match. Why play standard when you know what hes gonna do? I'm not blaming players for cheesing. They know they'll probably lose in a macro game against IdrA. I hold no ill will towards the players who do this; but I do find the games largely boring as a spectator since it's a foregone conclusion that there will be cheese.

You have to get a second base but not necessarily before pool. I consider hatchery 1 minute after pool to be fast expanding too.

Zerg should probably "just learn to play better" again. Show us how it's done Liquid zergies! And Jinro, I want to see more Jinro! Get a pool before he gets his expansion. Just because 14 hatch is "standard" against terran doesn't make it greedy.
