I'm a member of the Swarm but if the finals were Boxer v Foxer, Idon't know if my girly excitement could be contained!^^ Also, what's with the finals not being until the 13th? They get us all excited and make us wait a whole week? Wtf with that ;( Probaly so the players can actually practice. Semi and finals right after each other seems very tough. Atleast they have time to work on the stream stuttering now i guess ![]()

They don't "add" one. You are just 1 year old instead of 0 when you're born...

They don't just add a year. They count from the point of conception (9 months at birth), and add years to your age based on the New Year rather than birthdays, so you can be up to 2 years 'older' than your literal age.

To everyone who says to hard counter his marines the zergs have used baneling infestor on him, I cant think of a much harder counter, but he still wins making more marines and splitting them everywhere. As revolutionary as his play has been in this tournament people are going to copy it and something will have to be done, you cant have a strategy game boil down to just make a lot of your tier 1 unit. According to IdrA, his strategy is countered pretty heavily by infestors. IdrA seemed pretty confident that a good Zerg with infestor/baneling could take Foxer's strategy down pretty easily. you cant have a strategy game boil down to just make a lot of your tier 1 unit. Day9 would beg to differ, since he's done several dailies on how good tier 1 macro builds are. People get too obsessed with this idea of tiers. Personally, marines are way more fun to watch than thors. And emerging strategies<>imba.

![]() Boxer played excellently, but marines get owned so hard by siege. If ITR had been less stubborn and skipped the banshees so he could get siege right away, he would've done much better (not necessarily won tho). I don't really understand why TvT has moved from standard tank/vik play to "cute" harass like blue-fame drops and banshees. Those can end the game when they are unexpected, but when they are the norm they fail more often than not. Bleh. Looking forward to tomorrow's match. Real Boxer is an incredibly organic player and my new terran crush. ![]()

I'm pretty sure the guys he's been playing aren't stupid enough not to know how he plays - it's probably a testament to how good he is that his execution is solid enough that he can make his strategies work. edit:spelling just like the real boxer, bunker rush anyone? I used to be sold on Fauxer, i mean even though faux is pronounced differently, it'd still be pronounced the same as foxer, and it is more clever, but i think for simplicity, foxer makes more sense, and i prefer it showing him to be as crafty as a fox, than emphasing the faux nature of his name,

I'd like to see Foxer beat that. The last thing i would go is banshees. ITR seems to pick a strategy for every series and then doesn't deviate from it regardless of the actual situation. He did the same in GSL1 finals. Which seems...odd, from such a good player.
