Loved that first game - it's always interesting to see Vrays just being used as part of a regular army instead of as a cheese-only unit.

Now that they do more damage at Stage 1, it looks like as long as you have a solid core ground army, they can really make more of a difference without pre-charging.

Some may call it BM but remembering what a nervus guy he was I like his new confidence. He was the only player I remember being more scared of camera than me. In pregame interview for Blizzcon I translated for him and it took him 2 minutes to say his name and id cuz he was so nervous. I think winning that blizzcon did some boosting to his confidence.

I put forward the motion that he can spell his name Fauxer simply because it looks cooler, and then we can all pronounce it however the hell we want. Because as the great philostopher Dizzee Rascal once said, "If you believe, you can achieve, innit."
If you line up a hundred French Canadians, every single one of them will pronounce Fauxer as "Foakser". That's not the issue.

The issue is that Fauxer does not, in fact, look cooler, nor is it that deep, clever pun.

Now, Go Genius!

How about you replace "French Canadians" with "anybody who's not completely linguistically ignorant"? I just like Fauxer more, that's all :p .

BTW, how is Foxer a deep, clever pun?

The great irony of this series is that if Foxer does go on to win the GSL, there will be some loud minority claiming that Foxer is overrated and lucked into winning the tournament courtesy of Kyrix throwing his advantage away... not unlike the contingent who kept insisting Fruitdealer was overrated and should have lost to oGsTOP.

Thats exactly how I feel.. fruitdealer got lucky. This guy might get lucky also and win.. both have styles that can be beat if someone looks closely to how they play. Next season though.. there will be someone who knocks him out early..

You're trolling right?

Foxer beat Fruitdealer, Sangho and Kyrix, and he's in the semi-finals, and you say he got lucky? Fucking hell.

.. fruitdealer beat a lot of people also. So no I am not trolling.. fruitdealer is very good.. probably 2nd best zerg... this guy is very good also but they arent the best. Which is why they dont deserve to do as good as they have done due to luck..

I think pure micro = luck... pure macro = skill.. 50/50 or.. 75/25= skill... and yes I am a idra fan because.. he plays very solid.

FruitDealer "probably 2nd best Zerg?"

lol, which Zerg could you possibly rank above him? Don't you dare say Idra...

lol.. yeah not all luck but only way to get my point across was to be extreme about it.. relying on really good micro skills vs banelings isnt skill in my opinion. I would rather rely on building placement / unit composition.

yes, because ur micro is not 1% as good as foxers....

for progamers which practice 12hours a day, relying on extreme micro is not luck or cheesy.
