E-sports needs more guys like TB. Enjoying every second. I even prefered sometimes to hear him commentate his chat discussions than the "boring" casts of day9. IMHO day9 is a great guy to analize games, he truly knows what hes talking about, but there simply no excitement in his casts..

funny entertaining guy > serious brainy guy at least in this domain.

Thats only because he is paired with Dapollo, man is he a dry bum.

When has Day9's daily ever been exciting? I'm tired of Day9 fanboys criticizing whoever Day9's commentating partner is. They should have paired an analytical guy + a fun guy. To be honest, I rarely see Day9 have chemistry with anybody, even when with Tasteless.

I think Day9 can be pretty funny & enthousiastic. I'm not a fanboy (never watched a daily actually).
I like D.Apollo as well, but that's pure because of his accent ^^.

What I disliked was the part where D. Apollo tried to give an explanation of what was going on and Day9 was like "uhuh, right, yes *when can I talk again!*" (where he just thought the part between * and did not actually say it, but it was pretty obvious).

Agree with your sentiment. I think Apollo is doing a great job; better than Day9, dare I say it. It seems like very often Apollo will say something insightful, then turn to Day for a reaction only to get "yeah yeah" as a response, kind of shutting down the chemistry between them.

Day9 does a great job getting the fans exciting and does awesome when he monologues, but he doesn't seem like the best conversationalist, at least when casting.

doubt ive heard much "insightful" stuff by apollo. most of the time he says something thats well... not so true and day does the only thing he can do and shrugs it off with the "yeah yeah".

also pretty much all mlg casts were amazing(wheat+day9 go so well together) and so was blizzcon. there is a reason why he is the most prominent caster out there, because he always does a great job.

ServaNt vs. Sjow from Group B
HuK vs. Tarson from Group F
Tyler vs. Actionjesus series from RO16
Group D was dramatic ...
But overall, the whole tournament is worth to watch. Take your time.

Do you really watch the cast ? Did you notice that those "uhuh, right" moments happen when he is actually chatting with players in the lobby.

i dunno about that, i have to agree with liveon on that one. Every time that happen i cant help but to imagine day going "umm? hello? im the one who's supposed to be talking here!" in a diva voice.
It doesn't make him a bad caster he simply needs co-casters who are experienced enough to tend to his needs and help his cast blossom.
Wheat is a great example of that, just like he helped Nick channel his crazy hyper energy into the right channel during their WCG casting.

Well I understand that you get this feel from that, because I get it too, so he should work on it, but I also look what he does when those situations occur, and you will notice that he is focused on other stuff, like talking with players in the lobby, ...
