What is Stratbunker? The Strategy Bunker, or Stratbunker for short is a group of skilled Starcraft II players who give lessons and create guides to improve the every day and competitive player's skillsets. Our youtube page provides analysis of high profile matches and tournament games, with much more to come in the future.

Who is Lazarus? Noah Lazarus is a Starcraft II player and team owner interested in getting involved in community events and promoting Starcraft II as a whole. He has been attending all the MLG events and getting a feel for the scene and its players. He will be providing the cash prizes for our showmatches and tournaments.

Shoutcasting: There will be an hour delay between when the games are played and when the shoutcasting goes live to prevent stream abuse in matches with this kind of prizepool. If the players are in Korea it will most likely be done from replays due to timezone issues.

very cool - and HuK and Select get along great (they play 2s) so it should be a fun match to watch!!

for the next one, I'd love to see some other really strong NA players vs - m00nglade, qxc, PainUser, Fenix, Kiwi, I'm sure any of these guys would put on great matches

or anyone in the sc2ranks points+ratio Top 25

edit: also it would be awesome to see some pro 2v2 action, like Cella+TT1 vs catz+drewbie

HD and Painuser? My interest in this slows down

SelecT will win this to finally declare to everyone that he is awesome

Huk will fall into more depressions followed by even more training => causing a huge success at GSL3

And after so many miracle predictions i make just another one: someone will call me "ridicules noob and i will get probably an warning for this post"

@HD you will never be known as an good Commentator until you drop your fake passion for Starcraft!
I really loved you, until i realized that you do the most for fame sorry my opinion

He is Asian, the love for starcraft 1 & 2 is in the genes, he has roughly 270k subs on youtube, a good commentator would not have that, now please do us all a favour and remedy your lack of intelligence and gtfo

lol easy money for SeleCT.
SeleCT need better opponent!

HuK does fine with the lower tier of known players, however for $300 bucks we could have a epic battle!

HuK can match players like LzGaMeR, Machine and Painuser but SeleCT is just a level above that at the moment.

Select > Huk. End of story. The only player Select can lose to on the NA server is Idra. The only player idra can basically lose to on the NA server is Select too.

Yeah, Select has only played around 700 ladder games actually...which is substantially fewer than HuK once you realize that HuK also has a high ranked Euro account.

select has about 1600 ladder + custom games
HuK NA has about 1100 ladder + custom and Huk EU has about 600 ladder + custom
so they are pretty close (customs include obs'd games, etc)
although Select does have about 300 2v2s

anyways, that's a shit ton of games for both players, avg. close to 20 a day

i doubt it lol
some people have a lot of games played

how many does select have? i played mut3 the other day, he has nearly 4000 1v1s

Damn I have like 500 games + barely any customs t.t

I believe it says the match will be streamed an hour after it starts to avoid
any foul play, but your right, I am also curious where it will streamed at that point?

I hope you're making fun of all these guys on TL that thinks HuK is a top player? Otherwise you'r head's not straight...

There is so many players out there in North America that is of atleast HuK quality but simply doesnt get the same ammount of attention.

HuK is good, but for gods sake stop underating the rest of the players!

The Games are pretty insane :D, they were all just played. Get ready for the casts.

Basic Rules of Casting:

Start on time
Don't spoil the results of the game before the series to start
Cover the replay bar
Don't show the number of games
Be in sync with the commentary

I don't want to be the person who's bitching but I really am insulted by the lack of professionalism found here. There are a load of problems that have occurred and I believe that housemd did a sufficient job stating. All I want to note is that there's a standard that is expected on Teamliquid and this did not meet up to it.

I understand that to a certain extent, some things cannot be helped but being on time is certainly not one of those...as for the lag, I'm sure it's a stream issue so that is acceptable...it happens. Painuser and HD are both great guys and I think you both can do much better

I just closed the stream as well. The casters aren't synchronized, the quality is pretty terrible, the replay button is NOT hidden, the Info tab is on "None" all the time. Terrible.

I'm still watching unperturbed, but I can see why people are a little put off by the presentation here.

I completely agree, I mean I think we can chalk it up to in-experience, Painuser, spoils the outcome, stream crashes, during fights the stream lags, sound is too loud, no overlay over the replay bar. I think this could have been done a lot better.
Ideas are bullet-proof.

This is pretty sad, Pain is lagging so bad. The stream keeps crashing. Wish the chat wasn't locked so we could at least talk or get info. Instead we just sit and wait, or if you are smart... go watch something else instead and wait for them to be on youtube.

I'm enjoying the event. It's free and it's between two top level players. What more could you want?

If you guys wanna see HuK still, check out iCCup.TV's stream

This is a good series though, despite the spoilers in it.

GSL is free, between arguably even higher level players and its professional. Grants GSL is live events, at least cover the time bars and dont spoil the games before you even start casting. On the subject of casting how about turning your sound off so i ca actually hear what you are trying to say?

Yeah, not sure why they wouldn't use HDStarcraft's stream, I've seen him stream before and it's pretty good quality.

I think they're trying to get the whole Stratbunker thing running without having to rely on HD.
Obviously they need more experience.

Props to pain for trying, I mean he got HD to come help cast, just wasn't prepared, I have a great feeling the ext thing they do will be awesome. Just need to give em some time.

Liked the event, just in-experience was a bit of a dampener. Pain is a pretty good caster, just the camera control is more like him watching a replay for himself rather than to show it to a good of viewers.

replays or it didn't happen!!

seriously though, you can upload them to stratbunker replays section to get hits - it doens't look so good in terms of activity when all the replays you have there are from early august

So many people not satisfied with what happen, i hope the staff from stratbunker tries to cover up the damage done by at least posting the replays on their site (it might be the only traffic they will get given this sad fiasco)

Another showmatch coming up this week, anyone in particular you guys would like to see? I was thinking test out some of the TL guys who have been out in Korea against eachother? Or pit them against some top out of Korea foreigners? Post your thoughts!

That sounds like a brilliant idea. I would love to see a showmatch between Huk vs TLO or Tyler vs TLO, I heard that Huk, Ret, Tyler and TLO are heading to Finland for the Winter Assembly offline tournament. They might be in Finland already, too. So, it would be perfect if they had a show match against each other.

Huk is going to be in Finland for the Winter Assembly, while Jinro will still be in Korea. There's a huge latency issue between the Europe and Korean servers.

I would say HuK vs KiWiKaKi, but...PvP is kind of frowntown right now.

Honestly, HuK vs IdrA would be the best for drama. There's no shortage of entertainment when those two face each other on ladder.

Ok so we decided on Huk vs Jinro due to the Jinro/Idra showmatch we really wanted to showcase a pvt and who better than these two players?

I think it's just a poorly worded op. I don't think they have released the Jinro vs Huk games yet. I might be wrong though.

It says after the first paragraph:
Match Start Date: TBA, but coming soon.

They probably should write what the vods are for though if it isn't for the one in the title.

With an average game length of 7m36s over his 6 games in GSL3, this is a no-brainer. BitByBit pulls more SCVs than yo momma at a club on Mar Sara. ♞

Had to postpone due to players being busy with GSL, what players would you guys like to see in the series from North America? Whats the biggest match we could get going with the current standing of players? Kiwikaki vs Idra sounds pretty good to me. Post thoughts.

Would an Idra vs Tyler rematch be redundant?

i was driving down the road this november eve and spotted a hitchhiker walking down the street. i pulled over and saw that it was only a tree. i uprooted it and put it in my trunk. do trees like marshmallow peeps? cause that's all i have and will have.
