Genius is through to the Ro32, as well as Inca.. actually I think SangHo, Inca, and Genius might be the three best toss in the tournament as well.. could be wrong though.. just not many great toss with tester not in, and Inca wasn't that impressive the other day either.. oh well.. SangHo looks strong despite all the hate in this thread for him beating TLO.. I hope TLO wrecks GSL season 3

In the developed world, a lot of people have to commute to work in city centres, which can mean early starts just to get to work by 9am. In the "developed world"? Excuse me? If your commute is 2 hours long each way, it's not your "development", it's that you've "developed" into urban sprawl and/or are retarded enough to actually take a job with a 2 hour commute. As a new fan to pro gaming, I've been thoroughly enthralled by the entertainment value in SC2. And especially entertained by the creative and obviously talented players. After watching this round 64 live on GOMtv (for the first time ever), and seeing several mediocre players advance, I am disgusted that somehow the tournament designers managed to put two players that are clearly and obviously massively superior in skill to their round 64 counterparts against each other in a preliminary round, forcing an elimination. This is the equivalent of having an NFL Quarterback Tournament, by which the winner is decided by elimination in 1v1, and in the very first round Peyton Manning is pitted against Drew Brees, while every other match-up involves a 2nd string nobody. The outcome of this "GSL" now seems as much decided by pure luck as it is by actual skill. How can a tournament that forces the elimination of top players in the preliminaries be seen as credible whatsoever at all? I didn't feel as if "the best player won" today, as I would hope to feel. I am a fan of both players, and I felt disgusted and cheated of the pleasure of watching one of my favorite stars play again in the tournament. The TLO vs. SangHo game should have been either in the final of the tournament, best out of 7, or at a minimum the Round of 8. This needs to be fixed before pro 1v1 gaming becomes a joke. I'm sure a new system can be devised that pits players of appropriate skill at appropriate times in a tournament against each other. P.S. The Rankings by GSL are pathetic. TLO = a "private", and a fake "Boxer" is now going to be a "Sergent" or something? That's like calling Babe Ruth a "little leaguer" and telling a bench warmer that he's "MVP" because the refs didn't know how to set up a fair game. P.P.S. And yes, I'm very pissed right now, so apologies if any of this seems like "hating", but it's also important, because this is the "new guys" opinion on something that seemed so cool at first, and now seems lame.

Yeah and at this point if they do not have a great gsl 3 then they won't be in the tournament at all. And if they do they will be up against top 8 players in the first round so most likely will not advance unless they advance their game by leaps and bounds. As of right now without a strong showing by another foreigner in gsl3 prob meaning a run into ro32 ro16 tlo idra and loner will be the only foreigners in the actual gsl event. Im not sure how strong showing in the ladder tournament will affect being in the main gsl league but this could realistically be the only foreigners in half the events next year.

Most people do in fact wake up that insanely early because they're brainwashed into thinking it's OK to spend 80 hours a week commuting/working, and us Europeans are lazy slobs with no work ethic, with our 4 weeks paid vacation and our 35-40 hour workweeks.

Yeah im kind of confused as to how a strong showing in the ladder tournaments or the world championship would affect a 2011 ranking or if it just factors into 2012 seeding.

I really don't see the difference between that 4 WG build and 3 Rax rauder timing push. Difference is that if TLO had gone 3 rax MM and won, I imagine a lot less people here would be complaining. As for the people who say this being a Team Liquid site means we should forgo rationality and logic, that's ridiculous. Supporting TLO and his accomplishments is one thing, but to belittle the achievements of other because they played to win is simply childish. The roots of Team Liquid, founded in BW, are based on respect for players, not senseless personal attacks as if this were WoW.

I'm not get used to american football, but in soccer, in UEFA Champion's league there happen a lot of situations when 2 great, strong teams meet each other just in the first or in the second round. It's called "Draw", you know.
