of course he can, he has a much better chance than other toss in the tournament since they practice together..

I wish they'd stop putting the Foreigner Games on in the first segmant, it's like 5AM/6AM start for the UK and Europe for the games and it means I have to get up at 6 to possibly catch Idra play in two days. :|

I more worried that he thought those games were all that exciting. They were alright, mostly because it's fun when someone you're rooting for so hard plays, but they games themselves weren't all that great in terms of entertainment value.

Bit underrated TLO's quality I think. He had an offish night. Maybe a bit too cutesy?
Gah just frustrating because we all want him to do well so badly. Good though to get him to see those foreign styles again. Right now foreign T seems miles head of korean T.
Nice they put it earlier though. Otherwise westcoasters can't watch the game T_T

TLO played poorly and lost. He tends to do that because he tries to do unpopular strategies and they just don't work.

Pylon inside? Pylon outside with vision? How did he get vision?
Pylon outside rocks. Rocks are even ground so Sangho had automatic vision once the pylon was finished.

Fruitdealer is also, at least from what I've seen/heard, stronger ZvT than ZvP. So Sangho is definitely a significant threat.

Especially how the Emporer himself actually said how much he likes TLO's play.

why? because he doesn't have a 15 food ovi

Argh, it just hurts to see TLO go down like in the third game. Even a baddie like me keeps a marine or builds a supply depot to keep an eye on that proxy pylon area... small "errors" cost him greatly.

Cheering for foreigners in Pro SC is kind of like being a US soccer fan during the World Cup: you wait so long for every event with the hope it gets better, and you're lucky if they advance as far as they did last time.
But like being a US soccer fan, I'll never give up on them. TLO played a great set, and this is a small chapter to the much bigger risk he took for going to Korea in the first place and shouldering so many of our hopes. I hope he knows what a talent he is, and lets this only motivate him to keep playing ^_^
wp SangHo. TLO in GSL 3!

Well, it is officially up to our final Great White Hope. Come on Grack, win us foreigners a GSL.
No pressure or anything.

with real chips down any gambler would bet sangho, unless you're out to lose
where's all the bans for these extreme fuks who want to kill or fuck 'em in the ass? how's that alright?

Never liked a tournament with losers' bracket. it is more like stuff just for entertainment, but not for competition.

I wish TLO used more Ghosts.
I mean, come on. You can half the life of a protoss army with 2-3 emps. Especially against Immortals... No need for a million gas worth of Thors.
|
I hope that TLO does well at Blizzcon so that he can get some momentum going for him. Must be tough wanting to improve from last season of GSL and end up falling back a step. It is unfortunate, since he is such a fun player to watch. Don't let it get to you man, there is another GSL every month and lots of tourneys in between ^^

TLO hadn't expanded and Sangho had snuck an expansion.. If sangho had held that off and done more damage with dts, tlo would lose no doubt about it.. 2 base against 1 base? it was a good attack though, i don't really think it's cheese like some people are saying, but i don't think 4 gate is cheese either.. I really wish artosis would have talked with tlo about game 1, I feel TLO could have played that much differently.
Yeah see I don't like the "if" arguments because they are just obvious statements. Of course if Sangho held off his attack and did more damage he would of won. I could say the same thing about game 1 by going yeah well if TLO caught Sangho's army out of position, had emp, and was running off of 2 more bases he would of won. See? Doesn't mean anything.
And I wouldn't call it 1 base vs 2 base when Sangho threw down his 2nd base when TLO was pretty much already inside his base.
