I think a game vs QXC would be the most interesting as WhiteRa is quite weak atm and Ret surely needs some time (even though he makes a steady progress). A game s QXC on the other hand is also nice because it give us a good impression about the strength of the NA/EU servers as they both are like top 10 in their area.

I think the voting is quite biased because ppl just love Ret for being Liquid'Ret - there's nothing wrong with it of course, but I also believe a game vs QXC might be more interesting because both are very aggressive players

He really is. In both games he has lost he has complained about balance in the chat. First game he won in macro game didn't see the whole game really but was a long one.

A comment on the casting, obviously you're sick so I can cut a lot of slack- but I'm just gonna say that your vocal analysis is pretty good, however in a few cases your observing skills could use some work. You tend to focus on the bases a lot, and not on what is happening in game.

I'm just gonna say that Nani didn't even beat him in macro in game 1, Ret just over expanded and didn't tech enough. It was more of a mistake from Ret than good play from Nani imo.

I am honestly worried about ClouD's health sometimes. I can only imagine him beating Naniwa in a practice game and then having to dodge knives, plates, random pieces of furniture and imbalance accusations being thrown at him all at once.

ret was pretty much the best non-Korean SC player. I think the single thing holding him back right now is the lack of practice. He has only been playing SC2 for a few weeks now I think?

Yeah you can't blame that interview as a contradiction to what he said. He just had to blame this patch because he refuses to blame his play. It wasn't unexpected from what I have read everyone expects him to BM even if the game was perfectly balanced or his race was still favored to win ^^.

Ret plays very well. Still not sure why he didnt go for a few ultralisks in game 1, or can phoenix actually lift those monsters up?
nope they can't - wouldn't make sense neither logically nor gameplay-wise
was surprised myself, ultras are a pretty strong response even when a protoss has phoenixes: "you kill my overlords? well guess what, I'll just kill your friggin base then"

Phoenix can't lift massive units. That would be hilarious!

Btw, during the games the caster (Schicky?) was talking about how it was unsure whether there would be another KOTH next week. Was that doubt just about this week, or is it unsure whether KOTH will continue at all?
