Pretty positive that if Idra faces someone he hasn't played they play a normal match. If Idra wins, he wins. If not they play a second match (with whoever wins winning the tourney).

If idra plays huk idras 2-0 score will carry over yes.

tyler likes his stalkers, someone explain? so loser's bracket has 3 extra rounds?

If it's HuK vs Idra it will be a Bo7 with IdrA up 2:0.
If it's IdrA against someone else it will be a Bo3. If Idra loses that, there will be a second Bo3(Or that Bo3 will be extended to a Bo7 with the score from the first Bo3).
If someone loses two series they're out of the tournament, that's why Idra only needs to win one Bo3(or the continuing Bo7 which would also be only two wins) and his opponent needs to win more.

(Or that Bo3 will be extended to a Bo7 with the score from the first Bo3).
It says just two matches
If the Players scheduled to play each other in the Finals have not yet played against each other in the Open Bracket, an initial Match must be played. If the Player who came from the Winners Bracket wins the initial Match, they will win the Event. If the Player who came from the Losers Bracket wins the Match, a tiebreaking Match must be played. The winner of a tiebreaking Match will win the Event. Game 1 of the initial Match will be played on the Map that has been selected for Game 1 of the Finals. Game 1 of the tiebreaking Match will be played on the Map that has been selected for Game 1 of the Winners Bracket Finals. If the Players have already competed against each other on the Map that has been selected for Game 1 of the Winners Bracket Finals, the Player who came from the Winners Bracket will select the Map for Game 1 of the tiebreaking Match.

BUT - I switched over to Tekken 6 for a bit and.. It struck me.. There are only white males around age 20~ in SC2 (Or Koreans in.. you know, Korea)
Any idea Why? Cause to play at Idra's level you need to practice like 8-9 hours a day. A lot of players can't do that after college etc, etc. Edit: Not to mention that he USED to play 12 hours a day during his Brood War training. Sure, but it seems odd to be a white male 20~ exclusive thing. To get straight here, I'm asking - Why aren't there any black or brown people? Tekken has them, I'd like to see more diversity in there. So I'm again asking - Why is it so homogenous? I suggest mandated racial quotas for the sake of diversity. There's hardly any females either. Need more equality for the sexes. The female part is a whole different things and something I can drag into a testosterone discussion. And as I said - Don't try to turn this into anything, it'll just end badly for you.
Seriously, you're the one that's making it a racial thing. I ask, so what if a racial group gravitates towards a particular interest? You might consider me a 'brown person' and racial diversity does not occur to me. I also like watching Street Fighter 4 tourneys which has a range of players. If you want a serious answer, maybe find the answer to why fighting games are so diverese?

it doesnt seem totally fair this way imo..
if huk meets idra in final, huk starts 0-2
if kiwi meets idra, kiwi starts 1-2
if tyler/select/drewbie/ meets idra, then its double bo3 with idra needing to win only 1 bo3 while the challenger need to win 2 bo3
they all should just do the double bo3 format regardless of the opponent. Losing 1-2 and 0-2 should not matter and contribute towards the latter matches.

wow god this is such a great post ! thanks for replays and your time, i hope for great final !

Thanks, that makes sense, it means that Idra would have to lose 4 games in both cases to be out.

Very very very ambitious from select to 2 rax push in cross positions. This game is Tyler's unless he makes a colossal ( ) mistake.

lol @observer-guts hanging

MLG|Shrew: Nony is holding off a 3Rax push from Select very well. He was able to hold his expansion.
