ITR is old player and cannot expect him to have so big downfalls like "newbies"
Cool was just well prepared like to the previous games, his countertactics were smoothed out with his build orders and made ITR seems to be a league lower but still he remains a great player.
Really liked 3rd game, nicely covered the map and denied almost all drops.

lame final, rain made so many mistakes. im zerg myself and wanted to see zerg win but I had hope for some epic matches but all we got was fruit owning rain in every possible way lol

Terran failed to exercise the versatile play style all Zergs whine about. Terran was so predictable.
Zerg played with alot of things that were considered gimicky, but which will become norm now..like Nydus, Bane drops etc.
Zerg used literally all the tricks in the book in the finals..even Hydras (sigh) but Terran didnt.

Day[9] talked about this saying we will see Zergs start to take over after they learn how to "not die" early.

So basically we all gotta play like the best player in the world to win as zerg vs terran? Well if every zerg wants to win GSL then I guess yea o.O. But if you're content on killing some players in diamond you don't have to become Cool for that.

Just saying to the outcome of the finals: YEEEHAAAAA !!!

Did you watch the games? Its obvious ITR wasnt in his top shape. You need to learn how competition works. A superior opponent can make you look stupid. Everything he tried got countered because it was Cool. Anyone else he'd succeed against and win. Cool was the better player and he won, hell he even showed how strong zerg can be if played properly. The fact that cool played better tells in itself that ITR didnt played as good. You can't say zerg is soooo strong watching a terran failing at changing his plans accordingly. Now I understand Idra so much, every terran will justify their whining with the result of this serie. Did you not understand what I said? The reason ITR failed at changing his plans is because Cool stopped him at every angle instead of letting him. Yes, Zerg letting terran do what the hell they please is why they're losing.
Did you not understand what I said?
ITR's plan was wrong from the start in many games as Tastosis stated many times, he should have done a 2 base timing push against FruitDealer's aggressive expanding. His turtling and harass way of playing lost him many games there because FruitDealer had the perfect counter for it.

He got buttraped in the straight up fights which is the ONLY time hydralisks were used. Lings, or lings/infestor were used to drop/fight drops.

Does EVERYONE have to qualify for Season 2 or do the top 4 or top 8 automatically get in?

I remember rage and passionate stupidity in LR threads before but never as many absolutely retarded posts as in here. Back when Boxer was first getting started, T was widely considered the weaker race. Lol, my comment about retarded posts is pretty funny then.

He got broken on that push because he over committed to dropping HopeTorture's main with a force that had no units that could shoot up. Certainly Hydras weren't the best choice, but please actually watch the games.

I could be wrong (and probably am) but the first three GSLs are "qualifiers" in a sense, if you make it to the Ro64 (or 32?) you are considered a higher seed for future GSLs. Someone will come along and correct me though, as the internet works that way.

ITR decided that killing a hatch first was too unfair for the zerg player.
