they didn't really do anything but waste gas. banelings mightve done more to that terran push.

Fruit dealer really does seem like the LimyoHwan of SC2.

Flash gives all his winnings to his parents, but why do older players like cool/rainbow give all their winnings to their parents? Because they let their parents run their lives over there. Fixed :p There's nothing wrong with being generous to your parents (I'd probably give half of it to my family if I won that sort of money), but it's like the expecation is that the parents automatically have control over the winnings, which IMO goes way too far. Hardly the case. I can see why you might think that (hell, I had trouble understanding how it worked at first), but it's not a case of "Everything I ever gain will go to my parents". Eveyrone just takes care of everyone in their family there, if the dad wins the lottery he won't use it all for himself, even if his children moved out. Same for the children. Yeah my comment was half in jest really. I definitely respect people who want to help their family more than those who wouldn't even think of giving any of their winnings away. We could probably do with a lot more of that attitude in the West. I see, I was just getting riled up because of the previous poster (partly due to me needing another cup of coffee as well).

Boxer excelled with Terran at a time when the race was considered underpowered, that is fact.

After roflstomping every1 from day 1 to the semi-finals including tester ITR gets stupid all of the sudden. Seems plausible....OR....zerg needs to stop whining and l2plikeCool? Did you watch the games? Its obvious ITR wasnt in his top shape. You need to learn how competition works. A superior opponent can make you look stupid. Everything he tried got countered because it was Cool. Anyone else he'd succeed against and win. Cool was the better player and he won, hell he even showed how strong zerg can be if played properly. The fact that cool played better tells in itself that ITR didnt played as good. You can't say zerg is soooo strong watching a terran failing at changing his plans accordingly. Now I understand Idra so much, every terran will justify their whining with the result of this serie.
Did you not understand what I said?
The reason ITR failed at changing his plans is because Cool stopped him at every angle instead of letting him. Yes, Zerg letting terran do what the hell they please is why they're losing.

Specifically the push at his gold expansion, yes he got raped due to having way too many hydras. Or hydras at all for that matter.

I wonder if he knew ITR's builds from the build order screen in Bnet or something. He just countered everything perfectly without even getting vision. Many games if ITR followed up with a banshee it could have been over but it seemed like Cool knew he wouldn't.

Never underestimate the determination of a cornered zerg! The thing is there were no banshees, hardly any marauders or hellions..we saw in semi-final things got tooo close for comfort for Cool. I think the trump card here is the mass Bling drops. What GSL will do is help change Zerg metagame with alot more infestor, bling drops comming into play now..how Zerg gets patched might just have to be how zergs adopt Cool's style. And regarding the culture and stuff..by asian..not just East Asia..its pretty much the case in South Asia as well as middle east and North Africa.
yeah you are right, these units weren't used. But my point is, no matter how big an advantage a Terran may enjoy over Zerg, this can be overcome by skill and determination.

Cool is like the master of early game defense. If any Zerg could survive the early game like Cool, then nobody would ever dispute Zerg balance.

There was nothing else going on and he's a very fast player. He lost his barracks because he didn't expect Cool to commit to those attacks (and partly because his scvs were blocked from repairing when he finally realized Cool wasn't backing off). It's what Tasteless was saying.
I've read so many comments here criticizing his reaction time. How can you really think it's reaction time? Especially in the first attack when his reapers gave him plenty of time to react.
He lost his barracks twice when they could've been easily repaired, how can you argue those weren't huge mistakes?
