Marxgorm Norway23 Posts October 04 2010 16:01 GMT #115 I have a quick note regarding tourney 2 and 3 I need to get off my chest, regarding the winner of those tournaments. The silver zerg Kalavera. Or should I say the 1300 diamond zerg Mettyman, since that is his real handle. "But marxgorm, how can you make such a horrible claim?" I can hear you asking, well let me tell you why. I was following him in the first novice cup he entered, and I was surprised to see a 100-110 apm player stranded in silver league with over 100 games played... I took a mental note to check it out, but I did not act upon this note before the third novice cup where I notice the following: His main race is terran, he plays it in all modes and every achivement he has are terranbased. Does not compute for such a good zerg... I got him to stream me some ladder games, using some ego manipulation and watched as the stomped a poor silver player as Zerg with 100+ apm. What struck me as weird was that he got the achivements "Centaurion queen and zerg macro master" in this game, now tell me ANY zerg has managed to not get those achivements over the course of 100 ladder games, be it team or solo.. So I notice Kalaveras 2v2 team partner, mettyman, a 1300 diamond zerg. Bingo, So I grabbed 15 replays of mettymans public replays and watched a 100 apm zerg following exact similar scouting patters, builds, gamesense and behaviour as Kalavera had shown in the tournament... To make matters even worse: his stream for the tournament was: http://www.livestream.com/mettyman ... He signed up for the second tournament with Mettyman's Teamliquid account... and he logged out and in of mettymans account while playing as kalavera on the tournament, none of the was online at the same time. And the jewel of it all, a 4v4 replay where the 20 APM real kalavera is playing with mettyman on his team: http://www.sc2replayed.com/replays/68953-3v3-terran-zerg-colony-426 case closed. Mettyman: you are a douche, what you did is equal to faking retardation to compete in the special olympics, or winning a medal while on steroids. There are special circles in hell for people who thrive on ruining honest competitions. I feel sorry for the ones you beat in the tourney, whom might have won or had a more positive experience of it without you there. So, I would like to congratulate the moral winner of tourney 2: Adwo!!!! and for tourney 3: Dusman!!! note: replays of mettymans games as kalavera and as mettyman are avaliable upon request. Thank you for reading, and please the plat/dia+ people reading this, for the love of god don't do this shit.

Oh well.

No action was taken because there was no clear evidence, eventhough it couldn't have been more obvious. Ohh, and I spoke too Kala. He said he didnt ladder as Zerg because he was afraid he would get eaten alive. Funny how rather stay in silver as Terran :p Glad to see that scum like these two gets banned though (:
