I'm currently at DNA cafe and it seems that we will be short on the number of headsets (we will have a limited number provided by DNA). Please bring your own headset if you have one (iPod headsets will work) and if you can't bring 1 please PM me and I'll try to work something out. Thanks JY

I'm looking forward to it a lot, I'll do everything I can to make the experience nicer for the online viewers and provide some content before and after the event.

When players have their downtime, would it be possible to create pseudo-areas organized by school so that schoolmates can meet each other? This way, a lot of local practice partnerships, interest in Starcraft and stronger CSL teams can form. It can further snowball into larger, more competetive LANs as well as other things. P.S don't make it so exclusive so that those who don't go to a school feel left out.

P.S don't make it so exclusive so that those who don't go to a school feel left out. This generally happens organically. At our Tourney players spent most their off time conversing and exchanging information. This wont be like the GSL where we are playing in PODs.

I will be going to Vancouver tomorrow, more than likely I'll go to the cafe for a little bit of practice, since the place I'm staying at doesn't have a comp that can run SC2. Can I get info on rates and such? Thanks edit: also I won't have problems in plugging my own gear will I? I assumed not

Starting from 6pm, it is $1.75 an hour. And I'm sure they don't care if you do use your own gear, just mention you are participating in the tournament on Saturday. Good luck Kawaii. JY

Hey CalvinStorm, unfortunately, you can only choose one race and that has to be used throughout the tournament (it seems like all tournaments do this, so we will do this too). Which race did you want to put down as your final race? Let me know JY

I have a blue snowball microphone you can use for the interviews its the same one Day9 uses and its super good, its omni directional so its great for 3 or more people too.

Sorry for being so last minute with my notice. Would love for updated brackets posted in this thread after each round (or match!) Hopefully the next one isn't scheduled in the middle of midterms. Best of luck to all participating.

I was thinking about it today, and we have quite a few people and a number of big names. Should be some really interesting stuff to rewatch.
