You dont want sc2 to be a cult for few only but to gain public acceptance . Having monopolised - rather secret pay to play tournaments wont help esp at this point of game . Sc2 needs bigger market and and the only way to do it is advertise good games not banning restreams or youtube reposts . Honestly ive never seen such a harsh policy - about watching a tournament - in any game all these years and quite frankly i find it lame

So kind of sad for him. Too bad he picked Zerg =\. No zerg has a real chance of winning, lets be honest.

Cool might get to RO16, but honestly these players are too good for zerg to compensate for their lack of power. Really sad, because zerg has some good players. ^^ Is pathetic. Cool is one of the favourites to win the whole tournament, and Check/Zenio will very likely progress to RO16 at the very least.

I think people should be happy for the high level of play and not worry about if there are any foreigners or not This doesn't really make much sense...how many foreigners make it to the OSL/GSL/PL games? Yet most of us white kids think those are the best games :-P (at least IMO) EDIT: referencing the nested quote

They would get many thousands of views per game on Youtube, and grow their audience significantly. Advertising money is absolutely the way to go. There's a reason why the NFL, NBA, professional bowling, and every other sport in the world doesn't charge subscribers to watch, and instead relies on advertising money... because that's how to increase popularity and get more and more viewers.

Quit whining about that. GomTV has a lot of happy paying customers, so they are happy as well. I would rather pay 20$ and watch it commercial free than sit through a 4 hour NFL match where only 1 hour is playing and the remaining 3 hours are commercials.

Anyway, most good amateurs or pros would've scouted that hidden expo. As zerg with zergling speed and speed overlords, there wasn't much reason not to. Idra was probably overlord-scouting-shy because he got hit early on and lost 3 overlords. Lotze played great though. Excellent timing to pump out as much units as possible for timing attacks, hidden pylons for attacking/harass, perfect scouting and unit composition to counter Idra. On his best days, Idra is probably 50/50 vs Lotze.
