WHY would Genius do anything to take out the far bunker.

That was just incredibly lucky by T. SCV stayed in close bunker like the whole build time.

Complete luck. Don't know why Tasteless and Artosis are saying it was brilliant.

Davit scouts early and proxies 2 rax with no gas, pumps marines into protoss base and bunkers up. Protoss pulls probes, takes down 2 bunkers but ultimately losses once a third bunker is up and he transfers 3 marines into it.
